If you consider all these injuries this season I think we dealed with them well. We reached semis in the CL and managed to get a CL place again. Not an ideal season by any means but not regressed as some claim.

Fair enough, previously City were just so good and this season Liverpool had a magnificent run of results and garnered so many points, Arsenal have been consistent to a degree and next season will be pivotal, I think winning something will be top of Arteta agenda

I think Rednapp is perhaps gibbering? I feel that City, Liverpool and Arsenal will bring in a fair few players over the summer and it could be down to who buys the best, D assume Pep will be motivated as much as Slot and Arteta pre season to shake the team and squad up

Yeah I'd imagine City will be favourites again, they've had their lull but you've already started the rebuild and will spend again in the summer no doubt. Seems weird that people think it will just be us and Liverpool next year

And I also think that Arsenal as City had a tough time with injuries where Liverpool maybe didn't have it as bad? That said Liverpool well deserved that title and I've no doubt even with a few more injuries they still would have won it but that's imo only

That's a decent question, if course a top notch striker would have defo helped but Arteta doesn't often rest players or am I imagining that? A few of the team have looked a tad tired last couple of months

That’s what I’m getting at. If the majority of their injuries are impact then they could justifiably claim bad luck, but I don’t think that is the case, without checking. Fatigue injuries are often down to overplaying players, and that’s just poor squad management.

Its a valid concern but at a point it's just become a vicious cycle. When you've only got 14 senior players available cos of injuries then they're inevitably gonna get run into the ground.

I think the Saka one was predictable but a lot of the others feel like bad luck.
