Bit of a kick in the balls for Trafford if City sign another keeper
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really, Trafford's young and they would have told him what's what.

Really?
'Leave Burnley as 1st choice, turn down being 1st choice at Newcastle and come and join us again so we can sign a more expensive keeper on eyewatering wages ahead of you. You'll get a start every now and again, perhaps becoming 1st choice at City when Pep falls out with the other keeper after he starts boffing the keepers ex mrs.'
Not the greatest sell tbh.
donnaruma is young still, he's only 26
Always good to hear from United fans about goalkeeping.
Yeah I can't imagine what's happening is what was conveyed to Trafford, at least he's got a chance to make the spot his own to begin with i guess

Wolves playing Jota's fav song
You need 2 top class GKs in the Prem.
Keeping them both happy is a different story though.
I don't think City are wrong to want the best layers available? Trafford will be on far greater wages than before now I'd imagine and he will be pashed off if City do buy another keeper but that's kinda what it is?
Players make choices and unless City said "yes you'll be first choice" then he made a decision that was his to make?
"players" not facking layers

Wolves are such a depressing side aren’t they. Always lose their best players but still seem to find a way to stay up. Manager is class though.

Going to be depressing this year. Clear our owners won't do more than the most basic of dealing. VP is negative as well. We are gonna be boring as feck this year, moreso than usual. Survival isn't guaranteed this time unfortunately.

Was listening to a podcast where they were saying a signing like this might indicate that they're succession planning for life after Pep, so they're pouncing on opportunities like this rather than Pep project players a bit more now.

Fair point, some clubs do project what players will help or improve them in the years to come, if City do buy Donnaruma then they'd be set for a keeper along with Trafford for a good few years
Wolves are in this game ATM, it's kinda open and anything can happen when it's like this
