Wolves are such a depressing side aren’t they. Always lose their best players but still seem to find a way to stay up. Manager is class though.

Going to be depressing this year. Clear our owners won't do more than the most basic of dealing. VP is negative as well. We are gonna be boring as feck this year, moreso than usual. Survival isn't guaranteed this time unfortunately.

Was listening to a podcast where they were saying a signing like this might indicate that they're succession planning for life after Pep, so they're pouncing on opportunities like this rather than Pep project players a bit more now.

Fair point, some clubs do project what players will help or improve them in the years to come, if City do buy Donnaruma then they'd be set for a keeper along with Trafford for a good few years
