The thing with Poch is - Never go back
How often does going back to what you had actually work? The only example I can think of was Chelsea rehiring Jose.
Plus, it would almost be an admission from Levy that he got it wrong when he sacked Poch - do you honestly think Levy has skin that thick.
If we were looking for a new manager tomorrow, I would lay good money on Tuchel being our choice - although he would have to be out of his faaaacking mind to accept it

You want the only manager who couldn't get a tune out of the GOAT Messi to manage us? No thanks.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Messi admitted himself he had struggles adapting to being at PSG which was affecting his performance, nothing to do with Poch
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course, nothing is Poch's fault. He is amazing!
After reading Conte's quotes today and the message we are being fed about backing him with a defender in the summer, it seems to me we have the perfect project manager.
Two windows and two or more to go.

You have absolutely no idea about football. That post has confirmed it. He's a high press manager. You can't carry three players. None of them want to press or defend so it's almost impossible, particularly in the CL to have any success.

What message about a defender in the summer? Anyway, I know why Levy is holding off backing him until the summer - his contract is up and he won't get any severance pay. Smart work.

Controversial opinion but whilst I don't completely back him, his investment levels haven't actually been that bad but the recruitment has been absolutely woeful. When you spend money badly, people assume you're not spending enough but on the face of it, we've had quite a few signings now that go about 40m - they've just all been completely abject. I think City's record buy is still Diaz at 60m which is as much as we spent on Richy. We are close to the spending of the big six since 2019 but it's been so poor used, it looks like we're not doing enough.
Last summer there was an article in the athletic saying we have targetted 4 defenders like Bastoni and the croatian lad. I read alot and the same message is pretty much being rehashed.
I mean Conte might not here in the summer so Titty could still attempt to sign one but there does appear to be a plan for the summer.
Sorry I mean Project 😉

We signed Lengley on a one year loan with no option.

I just watched Conte's two interviews on skysports. As much as I hate to say it both and especailly the last one they put up definatly sniffs of a dead man walking now.
I watched it over three times and it does not get any better. The press also seem to be after him now too. Generally it only goes one way once they start their feeding fest.... feckin parasties.

There is a well known cure, win. If we turn over the Gooners they will be off his back.
Spend some money, win some games and if he is lucky West Ham won’t sack Moyes too soon who is def the canary down the mine. It can reverse just as quickly - look at ETH after losing to Brighton and Brentford or Arteta a couple of seasons back
