Let’s put in this way; it won’t be the archetypal white male patriarch character that is inherently Bond.

In the last movie he was depicted as a clueless doddery dinosaur, reduced to carrying a child along while his bird fended off the bad guys with the gun, and then later had a black woman and a homosexual micro-managing his win over the bad guys for him. The only other white male character, M, also had a complete personality transplant to be made out to be an untrustworthy drunk. Film was a woke joke, utter pile of horse sheite not even vaguely comparable to Casino Royale.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They didn't have him fooling around with any other women either. They even took the promiscuity out of him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly. Turned him into a weak, flawed middle aged dad who relied on all the women and pansies to save the day for him. That’s what happens when you get some wokey double barrel BBC bird in to do the screenplay, her mission statement would've been ‘how much can I emasculate this white sexist pig with my equality agenda’.

I dread to think what's going to happen with the new Indiana Jones movie which she is a part of. I'm sure she will be saving Indy's behind from danger.

I'm bothered. Shouldn't be changing the appearance of Jesus just to pander to the minority whites

"....archetypal white male patriarch character..."

Lazenby spent half his movie in a skirt and a frilly lace-collared shirt. He was also known to be quite "ambiguous". Pulling dozens of women across London into pill-fuelled 3-somes that almost always involved his Aussie "mate".

His documentary even goes as far as mentioning that "production staff feared he was gay so sent a prostitute to his room with her pimp - who sat reading a newspaper outside".

And don't get me started about Roger Moore. An unathletic stuffed suit who made it a point to always remind the production staff that he "couldn't run on camera." Ian Fleming would have thrown a fit if he knew they would cast Bond as some cúûúnt who wore his trousers halfway up his stomach.

Surely we should be pandering to those who are minority white? It's the privileged white majority that should be made to suffer or something

Ian Fleming went a long way in fleshing out the "Bond" character across the series. Bold and dashing on one hand, and emotional on the other. A much more nuanced character than the one-dimensional superhero movie version invented for Americans.

Fleming even made an amnesiac Bond suffer an extended episode of erectile dysfunction in the story arc covering the months between "You only live twice" and "From Russia with Love."

"........But there was one thing that greatly distressed Kissy. From the first night in the cave she had shared Bond’s futon and, when he was well and back in the house, she waited every night for him to make love to her. But, while he kissed her occasionally and often held her hand, his body seemed totally unaware of her however much she pressed herself against him and even caressed him with her hands. Had the wound made him impotent? She consulted the doctor, but he said there could be no connection, although it was just possible that he had forgotten how to perform the act of love......." (You Only Live Twice - 1964)

Imagine trying to sell that to the likes of Ace and his mates from across the pond.

Don't get me wrong, the movies are good fun. But Daniel Craig's stint as "Bond" is probably the closest anyone has come to fleshing out the original character.

Fcking hell.

Glad I never watched it. Hollywood really has stopped producing good stuff and continues to wreck it’s old cornerstones.

I get it, the want inclusivity, but it doesn’t have to be included in EVERYTHING, surely.

They could have a “diversity” genre. I doubt many would subscribe, but at least we would have it.
