I thought this was practically done?

Ridiculous if we don't get this over the line ffs. Already bad enough we've been negotiating for what 2 weeks or so? To think he could have possibly played against City and Arsenal if we'd got our shiiit together!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Spurs don’t think like that matemeanwhile chelsea forking out on all the best youngsters in Europe. Why did we have to be stuck with ENIC?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not just Chelsea, Pool, United, Woolwich all wrapping up deals in double quick time, not to mention other clubs, and big money being bid etc.

Levy needs to realize market has moved on from his derisory bids and knock down deals. Clubs see PL clubs as a cash cow and act accordingly, Levy can`t pull the wool over their eyes any more.

Levy back in my bad books Don, and I'm slamming the pages on his bald fackin head!

I think we all know he is the one responsible for this taking as long as it is, even if Para is the main negotiator.

That’s the point isn’t it?
Whether he’s worth 30mil is irrelevant. We obviously wanted him but facked about for weeks (according to agent and Brighton).

Not saying I’m devastated we didn’t get him, but is he better than Danjuma? Probably. Would start or out pressure on the starters? Probably.

The way we do business is so 2001🤣

This is why it's a shame after the way we started the summer transfer window when we brought in Perisic, Richarlison, Bissouma and Spence all before 20th of July, with a total of close to £100m spent. That was a refreshing change. Last 2 summer transfer windows before that we'd only got 1 player in through the door before August.

It's like we have since fallen back into bad habits.

But Trossard’s representative has claimed that Spurs dithered in their discussions, allowing their north London rivals to pip them to his signature.

Quoted by the Mirror, Josy Comhair said: “Spurs were in contact with us for the last two weeks.

“But it was ‘we want him, but wait this, wait that’.

You can say you don’t believe them if want.

Spurs have previous for it mate. Every big transfer is a massive saga.

posted on 27/1/23

With the exception of last summer, most Spurs deals are long draw out saga`s, often ending in disappointed and a sub standard alternative signed instead. Other clubs do not have half the problems Spurs encounter when trying to sign players.

It`s the way Levy operates, I actually think he gets a kick out of the games of poker he plays and his who blinks first attitude. He loves the transfer game and is too stupid for his own good when trying to sign players.

And the thing with Levy, he doesn`t care if he misses out on players, to him it is business and he does not really care about proper success on the pitch. To Levy, everything is business first, football second.

100% mate. Has lived off his lucky VDV deal and has never made one like it since. Like you say, he doesn’t care. Look at Arsenal who are currently top of the league and looking to strengthen further to cement that league title. Can you ever imagine Levy doing this if we were top? No chance.
