Let’s focus on ourselves - I for one don’t think we will beat Chelsea on Sunday, we never do. After that it’s Wolves away and last week aside, they genuinely have turned a corner.
Sheff Utd in the cup in between - got Spursy written all over it.
Then we play AC Milan at home but start 1-0 down.
In 2 weeks time we could have faack all to play for bar qualifying for the Europa league.
I said on the Liverpool board the other week, 1 home win against an Everton side they always beat doesn’t mean they have turned the corner.
Likewise, 1 win at home to a pizz poor Hammers side that we often beat means nowt.
All to play for
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Didn't Spurs beat City in their previous home game, and haven't they won three out of four in the Prem,? I think that means nine points out of 12.
I fancy Spurs to turn Chelsea over 2-0 this weekend. Spurs are clearly playing better than them, whatever previous results says. And provided Spurs go strong at Sheffield United, they should be winning that. Milan game is 50/50. But I think a noisy WHL can swing the tie in Spurs favour. 3-0 Spurs win I reckon.
Plenty to be positiv about.

never ever confident about playing Chelsea. I fear the arrival of Dr Tottenham for Chelsea this weekend, but it will not be the end of the world. IMO more important to win against the next batch of opponents - Wolves Forest Saints Everton Brighton Bournemouth. That should be 14-18 points and will take us a long way towards our goal and build momentum!

Definitely not a shoe in, but 100% still a threat. That being said, what hilarious form. Laugherpool

Agreed, cannot right them off or rely on Spurs doing the job
BTW, it's shoo-in, not shoe in.

Write them off

Yeah, my point was that things are precarious for all sides at this stage of the season as all the games are on top of each other - take Man U, lose to Barca tomo and they are out of Europe, lose to the cup final to Newcastle Sunday, lose next week to West Ham in the FA cup - there quest for silverware could disappear in 7 days due to how the fixtures fall.
We could have similar in 2 weeks.

I agree, I feel the Sheff U game is more important as we have a decent chance of making the final of the FA cup - we have to go strong and take it seriously.
At some point the law of averages says Chelsea will stop missing so many opportunities and who better from their perspective to start against than us.
If we’re making top 4, this run now is crucial, it’s our easiest on paper all season until the Newcastle away game
Well its a good job we won't be playing them every week.
They were excellent bar the first 20 mins last night.
