I was way off last week, predicted a 4-1 thumping of Everton. Defeat against Southampton would be a disaster, I’ll leave it at that!

Hopefully a fresh start with Gracia.
Although I never wanted marsch I was calling for his head after the reverse fixture.
That was a sign of things to come for the hapless Jessie, blowing that 2-0 lead.
Going for a convincing 3-0 and the start of our climb up the table.

Or a 0-1 bamford own goal. Who knows?

New manager bounce, please, in industrial-size bucketloads.

Gracia seems like a decent bloke from what I saw in the press conference.

I'm sure the fans at ER will do their bit - it's the most massive of games - the game of the season so far!

Let's hope his first game results in the most comprehensive of victories!

Three points and a clean sheet, please.

Had a dream we threw away a 2 goal.lead to draw 2-2, Ward Prowse scored 2 freekicks.

Absolute cup final for us. Nothing less than a win expected. Will be a cauldron tomorrow, and Pablo help the directors at FT if we lose

Was at my home towns stadium last weekend, they'd won their last 7 games on a bounce and lost last week!..

2v0 up, but the last 17 or so minutes decided to let 3 goals in, that's all ok but please, not against the 2nd last!..

21 points in 7 games then as can easily happen a kick in the sack, last weekend wasn't a good one for us, but a fully crap one for me!..

Going to the stadium again tomorrow but instead of like last week going in the town and getting hammered afterwards, coming home to see what I can catch of this game!..

Looking for our new chief to lift us up tomorrow, so hopefully this weekend is the complete opposite to last weekend, this weekend we're playing the 2nd not the 2nd last!..

Er, 2nd last, bloody hell this is a 2nd last I want to win!..

U21's won 2-1 to set the standard, first of three Leeds vs Southampton games. Brace from Joseph.

I hope we see Darko Gyabi on the bench and at some point on the pitch. Thought he was outstanding for long spells of the U-21s victory over Villa the other night.
Aaronson showed why he's a regular international player for USA, some flashes of class over 45 minutes crowned with a good clinical goal.
I'd bench McKennie tomorrow if I were Gracia, to be sent on if needed. He's picked up three yellows recently, needs a bit of time to rest, learn and focus.
Gracia's a good man-manager according to some at Watford. Hope they're right.

-----------------------------------------------------------------Seems unlikely to me, played last night, long journey back. Mind you, Joseph played 90 and has been on the bench for the last couple so maybe the will make the squad.

Sorry both Darko and Mateo came off halfway through the second half.

Despite my knee jerk article last week ( 'Relegated' ),
I'm feeling positive about tomorrow/today. Skubes
seems a really nice bloke. But, we now have a manager
who has been there, done that in the Prem. Has to be
a win for us. Has to be. Right? God I hope so.

Prediction: 2-0 us. Gnonto and McKennie.

Well, the new head coach seems to have the backing of the fans, which is a good thing for those commenting on this board. He seemed to be nervous, which is better than appearing arrogant. He seemed grateful to get the job given that the media likes to do Leeds down it is a positive sign. It seems a good omen that the u21s beat Southampton u21s to go top of their division. A small thing, but given that the u21s were weakened and Southamptons u21s had four of their first team squad on the pitch was a very good result, lets us hope that it is a portent for a win today.
For once in a long time I am Looking forward to the first team playing, maybe we can hope that Leeds will stay up and the ownership will change. Radz though has done well at Leeds he has reached his limit and the 49s though unknowns look professional enough to be stewards of the club.
He was not a bad bloke Marsch, but he was not a good fit for the club. The new assistant coaches seem to have potential, and the one who bit his teammate seems to be a character, something the club needs is characters. We do not do boring.

Before many matches over the last 18 months or so we seem to have been saying this game is massive, biggest game of season etc. Clearly each match is worth 3 points but this really does feel like a defining moment for the team and its destiny.

Football when it comes down to it is always about the players and despite the new coach it is going to come down to whether these lads have it between their ears to produce when the heat is really on. Having been the only side in the top 6 divisions of the English football pyramid not to have won a league match since 5th November they'll have doubts and it is going to need leaders to step forward do their jobs and drag the others along with them particularly ones who have been around the club for a long time. Some of them let us down badly last week(I think we know who they are) and have been doing all season and that has to change.

It is a clutch match against a side who have just won away and showing signs of improvement We need this one badly and for players to step forward.

Dont give any stupid free kicks away around our box might be a good idea, do that and we will win,

i'd just like us to score more than them

Would be nice to go in at half time 3-0 up. Then if we can score first in the second half it will settle a few nerves.

posted on 25/2/23

Would like to see Harrison back on the LW. Its his best position and he generally plays well there. Get Summerville on the right and give Gnonto a free role with Bamford up top.

posted on 25/2/23

Can already here Tim Sherwood on SS saying Leeds come out of the blocks flying, score after 20 mins (Harrison) and then Saints equalise 7 minutes later 😅

So true.

Ward-Prowse from 18 yards out against Meslier.
9 out of 10 times it's a goal. Frightening.

posted on 25/2/23

Ward Prowse is 1 freekick away from equaling Beckham's record, 2 would beat it Adams, McKennie and Cooper give away fouls like confetti, not today please.

We have to get weened from Jessie ball.
Spread out and hold the ball more, we always looked like we were in panic mode.
