Staffs Uni ain't too bad - there's far better out there but certainly far worse. What are you going to read?
Doing English language and Creative writing. Right now my main choice is either Chester or York.
Saffs is awesome, Stoke on Trent is a little intimidating.
Tis and tisn't SKA.
It's a bit of a hole and somewhat like Blackburn there's some pretty large foreign populations. Stokies are a decent bunch though, work hard play hard!
Chester is lovely, I'm about half way between the two places. Pretty cosmopolitan, plenty of bars and proper pubs, nice women, river is nice. Not sure about the Uni though, I was somewhat intoxicated the time I was there...
Got to go down to Chester in the next month or so to look at that Uni. Can't make the open days so I'll either have to book an appointment or just turn up and hope someone is there who can show me round.
Close enough to go to Rovers games, far enough that you can ignore annoying relatives
Definitely a plus, although Chester is really close to Wales. I don't want to be that close to Wales.
They're not proper valley types, it's the posh scoosers you have to watch out for!
