But not sure why Castor. It's like we have two teams coached by 2 different managers. And looking at the personnel across the Europa League games, a team with Turner, Holding, Tierney, Tomiyasu, Lokonga, Vieira, Nketiah with 4 starters SHOULD be able put in performances in europa. Not the CL but Europa. But from the group stages, you could see they were not capable.
Partey holds the team together. Need another guy instead of Xhaka when Partey’s out to make up for the loss. Rice will be a valuable addition
Probably think we made too many changes plus the 2 injuries made it even harder.
City usually make 2 or 3 changes and still look good but if they had 5-6 i think it would be a different story.

This sounds remarkably like an admission that Arsenal, as a football club, can only seriously compete in one competition per season.

This sounds remarkably like an admission that Arsenal, as a football club, can only seriously compete in one competition per season.

This season we were not expected to be in a title fight, never mind 5 clear with 12 to go.
If we were 3rd or 4th then winning the Europa would be a priority.
Domestic cups really are neither here nor there. You get a few lucky draws and end up in the final, then by all means celebrate. But to go from within touching distance to top to 16 points behind and a 7-0 hammering to win a league Cup is not for me. I'd rather be in the title race tbh.
If City win on Saturday they could have 6 more games than us between the int break and end of league season...
That is about 17 games in 10 weeks I think...

Fact is City have been there, done it and got the tee shirt several times over. You, on the other hand, have done nothing in the league for years, and really ain't great at 'run ins' as we all know from last year..
I expect Arsenal to win the league but still big steps to take, last night may help or it may hinder.
We will see at the weekend.
