Whats he been found guilty of,apart from being an idiot.?

If he does come back and play every week as if nothing has happened, we should have a Partey to celebrate.

I don't want him anywhere near the squad, this season or next.

Shame as he could have had a big impact this season if he wasn't a complete d*ckhead.

At the end of the day , the legal case was dropped , the alleged victim has gone back to being with him again , she's apparently pregnant with his baby and they live together as a couple.
I'm not sure he'll play for us again ( although it looks like he will next season ) but he should definitely be allowed to play football again and carry on with his career.

There's a PL footballer right now who's been accused of alleged r@pe by multiple women and has been questioned by the police and he's still playing football ... Fair enough he's not been found guilty of any of these alleged crimes but neither is Mason

Yes, I think he should be allowed to play again, but would prefer with another club.

So we’ll be paying hundred thousands a month for a player who won’t kick a ball for us for the next 2-3 years? Had he been found guilty, at least we would have been able to terminate his contract.

Tough call.

If we were talking about a job in marketing, building, public sector… he wouldn’t be refused work, would he?

The challenge comes from the public facing nature of football.

On balance, I’d rather he finds another club.

But there’s an argument for him being remorseful and being given a second chance as well.

Do United really need another monumental distraction?

You’ve only just got rid of Pogba and Ronaldo FFS!

Did you want Gerrard to be sold when it was revealed he was banging a 15 year old school girl when he was 20/21?

United up shiete creek without a paddle,
Can't sack him,he would go for unfair dismissal, can't play him the sponsers would abandon ship, only option is to pay up his contract and make him a free agent, sure that he will find another club to take him on.

No problem piling up a bit more debt on top of the existing billion.

There might be grounds to sack him for bringing the club into disrepute.

Personally I hope he comes back for another team, I would find it very hard to cheer if he came back to our first team.

With you on this 52.

Based on what exactly? If now being accused of a crime is a sackable offence then good luck!

Like it or not he hasn’t been found guilty of any crime, it’s a slippery slope if we as fans start to call for players heads to roll before any form of judgement has been passed via the courts.

Yes yes the audio etc etc all that does is show us is Greenwood is a nasty piece of work but I’m sure there’s many more like that in every squad and many worse imo.

If they thought that possible they would have done it a long time ago,you would probably lose leaving him with a good legal team to sue the nuts off united, and they know it,thats why your still paying his wages.

Bringing the club into disrepute. Like I said. The audio, irrespective of guilt, has got sponsors worried. They are worried about their reputation being damaged by being associated with United/Greenwood. What do you think the word disrepute means?

He's not gone to court, they are back together having a baby and have plans to get married.

I think he's definitely going to play again next season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How does them being back together change the viewpoint of a normally functioning, intelligent human? Like if Hitler's wife got back with him after his wrong doings, would that make us think what he did was OK as well? Well she's forgiven him so he can't really have done anything wrong.

Or Hitler married a Jew after the war. Don't know about you but that would COMPLETELY change my perspective on what he did. Why would she get with him if he had done anything wrong??
