The bollocking of the players should've been in the dressing room/training pitch

But Stellini should've gone along with all the back room staff with Conte

Clearly out of his depth. Care taker for a few games is fair enough. But there is too much on the line now.
His tactical approach to the game was absolutely shocking.
It's a proper, proper shambles right now.
I actually feel a bit sorry for Stellini. He was put in an impossible position by the club and Conte (apparently Conte gave his blessing) as he couldn't really turn the offer down.
Then having been put in the position with the clear pressure from Levy to acheive top 4, what's he gonna do? He's not going to rip up the playbook and implement a whole new style of play for the remaining 10 games. He was clearly just going to steady the sip and continue where Conte left off.
Just as Levy thought that bringing in Mourinho and Conte would suddenly make us world beaters by default, without changing the club's recruitment strategy, he thought that as Stellini had achieved a couple of good results in Conte's absence that the same level of results would continue (again by default) until the end of the season.
Ridiculous and armature.

Decision making was a joke last night.
Retreating and inviting them on after we’d gone 1-0 up. They were on the ropes, down to 10 men, should’ve gone for the second goal to kill the game. Inviting them on increased the chances of us giving corners or silly free kicks away around the box, gifting them their biggest threats to score. Absolute disgrace of a strategy.
And yeah bringing Lucas on, a guy ready for the knackers yard and who is leaving in a few months, instead of a younger, hungrier new signing. What the actual fack was the point in signing Danjuma.
Son was so bad last night it was astonishing, and I could’ve reached through the telly and slapped Romero for his way too casual play in and around our box.
Shambles of a performance it was, honestly they make me sick.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why play Lloris too? He is leaving as well. As soon as him and Romero started facking about in our box the whole game swung in Everton's favour and they had 10 men.
Lloris was shocking for their goal too. Never even dived
I agree that he wouldn't be my choice and like all of us I'd love to see some exciting football before the season ends however I don't think last night is on him.
We went a goal up against a 10 man team who are hardly regarded as the best passers in the Prem yet from the moment Kanes pen went in they threw caution to the wind and we couldn't get near them.
The lack of leadership on the pitch is frightening and going into the later stages of games we look knackered and unable to win any individual duels. When you consider how experienced our team is their lack of ability to manage these situations is frightening, as soon as the opposition have nothing to lose and fire up the intensity our lot fall to bits.

Forster didn't deserve to be dropped, I like to see players picked on performances not reputation.
Hugo has had a diabolical season.

What was the point of paying off conte? (15 million rumours are saying)
Can’t wait for levy to tell us there’s no money inthe summer
Still can't quite believe that we went 1-0 up against 10 men and decided to bring on Sanchez.
The way we played after scoring was appalling. I am still in disbelief, I don't know why as this team have been a consistent disappointment over the last few years.
I honestly don't know where we go from here. Without Kane we are nothing. No manager will want to manage this lot.
The next few years are going to be tough. City, Chelsea, Arsenal, United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle will occupy the top 7 and we'll be battling out with Brighton, Wolves and Villa for that Europa Conference League position.
It's so depressing to see how far we have fallen.

It was perfectly clear that the defence were much more jittery with Lloris back than they were with Forster
The tactics are shiete but there is no guarantee it would be any better playing a different system, these players are simply not good enough.
We are paying dross like Hojbjerg 100K a week, he should be playing for a club like Southampton but is the main stay of our midfield.
I don't really care what we do for the rest of the season, whether we get top or not anymore. I would have just kept Conte on if it were me and removed him at the end.
I'd say that I'm glad if we are taking our time in choosing the right manager next rather than rushing into anything, because it's a big decision, but then again it's Levy making the decision so will probably get it wrong no matter how much time he has.

Exactly, it's a double whammy!
We are forced to watch a turgid cowardly brand of football that our players are not strong minded enough or good enough to execute.
Stellini must know he isn't getting the job permanently so he's got nothing to lose by taking off the hand break but I guess caution is in his DNA.
That said last night was far more the players than Stellini facking up. I bet Everton wish they'd gone for it straight after the sending off rather than waiting for us to score.

Just as Levy thought that bringing in Mourinho and Conte would suddenly make us world beaters by default, without changing the club's recruitment strategy, he thought that as Stellini had achieved a couple of good results in Conte's absence that the same level of results would continue (again by default) until the end of the season.

This is ALL on the board and the way they have handled the football team side of things the last 4-5 years.

I thought after reading Ali G's quotes from Stellini he would try something different off the bench like giving Danjuma a chance ahead of facking Lucas but he did the Conte playbook.
Fack him and Mason
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Decision making was a joke last night.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I did wonder if Hugo could have done better, it was very well struck but it was obvious he was gonna hit it so to not even attempt a dive was a bit strange.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He had 3 yards to cover. He was on that side of the goal too. I'm sick of that french sorry looking surrendering drink driving caaaaant.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm just waiting (not very patiently) for the day he leaves.
Forster didn't deserve to be dropped, I like to see players picked on performances not reputation.
Hugo has had a diabolical season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was perfectly clear that the defence were much more jittery with Lloris back than they were with Forster
