I've not seen many of your recent games, are you dropping MGW tactically or is he out of form?

Good luck for rest of season apart from against us!

Unfortunately MGW is bang out of form, though tbf to him, when hen does get the ball he has very few options, so its not entirely his fault.
Our best bet to get anything out of this game, is to travel over in the biggest double decker bus we can hire, and park it front of our goal, other than that, and Liverpool having a total off day, i think its going to be a long day.
Imo opinion we’d may as well have a go and lose by three, then just sit back in lose by one. Our goal difference is worth a point against us already.
I’m pretty much agree with the team selection above, other than Danilo, excellent prospect for the future, but a bit over whelmed currently, probably Colback. Freuler has also been pretty poor.
Henderson can’t be far off being fit, though it would be harsh to drop Navas.
I’d love to be optimistic and go for a draw, but realistically Liverpool 3 or 4-0.

Yeah Liverpool will be looking for a comfortable win 2 goal margin minimum

There are occasions that can work in our favour if they don’t score early and tension builds

Feels unlikely, best we can hope is battling performance giving us something to hold on to for the remaining 6 games, also would be fab if Leeds/Everton/ Leicester all lose this weekend!

Are lot seem unable to the park the bus.

We need a point at least.

But it will be 3 or 4 nil if we are lucky.

Normally I’d be very torn over who I’d like to see win this but under the circumstances, I’m very much behind Forest for this one. Liverpool’s season is done as far as I’m concerned, they’re not getting top 4. Forest are desperate for the points so my Forest shirt is on for this game….

Except, I just can’t see the Reds going up to Anfield and getting anything other than another beating away to a top team๐Ÿ˜ญ

A draw would be a miracle but huge

I’m disagreeing with your team selection this week ,chile and going radical.

Navas.

Williams. Niakhate. McKenna. Lodi

Mangala. Felipe. Danilo

Johnson. Awoniyi. Dennis

And I’m giving you:

Straw number 1 - After scoring six, and playing the team with the worst away record they will be overconfident

straw number 2 - It is an opportunity to nudge their local rivals a bit closer to the trap door.

Prediction (heart) 0-1 to the original Reds.

Everton have to play Palace, Leicester, Brighton and Wolves away - maximum 5 pts
Newcastle, Man City, Bournemuff at home - maximum - 1 point
Which means 7 points could see us safe.
We have Liverpool, Brentford, Chelsea, Palace away - Max 2 pts
Brighton, Soton, Arsenal at home - Max 5 pts

I have tried to be honest and fair. we could just about do it. Hope we don't have to rely on GD also hope we can do it before we go to Selhurst

Having just watched the Arsenal 3-3 S’ton draw, i sincerely hope the Forest players watched it too.
The spirit Southampton showed is exactly what we need tomorrow at Anfield.
S’ton were within minutes of grabbing a valuable and unlikely 3 points, yet in the end hung on in there.
I’ll be honest I haven’t seen that sought of commitment from our team particularly in recent weeks, now would be the perfect time to show it exists.
Looking forward, don’t go thinking 3 points against the Saints is guaranteed, it certainly isn’t.
The run in i believe will have several twists and turns, lets hope after the last game we are still in the Premier league.

Even we could score if gifted an opener like that!

But could we go on and get a second

Everybody knows their weakness, such as it is, is the space behind the full backs. We have to be brave and leave our wide attackers high when we don’t have the ball.
We also need three proper midfielders rather than MGW playing half and half

I wish I could feel like there was some chance of something today. Unfortunately, we just don’t/can’t defend. So will concede within first 20-30 mins and will be game over. Players know they can’t come back from that. Then it’s a question of how many.

I have not seen a performance from us this season where we have kept it tight or shut up shop. I just can’t see how it starts today really. Hope I’m wrong but doubt it ๐Ÿคž

The only real chance we had was Johnsons pace out wide, even he is wider now, on the bench. Guess we are trying for a 0-0, not a chance of that happening, I’ll stick by my earlier prediction 3 or 4-0, not to us.

I think the team/formation is worth a try. Nothing to lose. We can’t play the same way again and lose 4-0. Got to at least try for a point and see what happens. Would juts be suicide to play the same as we have been away. If we did somehow get something it would really give us confidence for further away games. We will probably get well beaten whatever we do so it’s worth changing it up.

Why we have a Newcastle fan as a referee. Surely he doesn't want Liverpool to get close to them to get 4th.

Well, half time. So far so good but I feel the real test will be in the second half. No suggestions that Forest can win but could they hang on for a nil nil?
