For all the pain he causes with his transfer dealings.... It always seems to work out better for the other team..... Carrick, Modders, Bale, Berba, Keane, Lamela, Walker, Eriksen, Doherty.. Might as well add Kane to that list.. Even NDombele is gonna get himself a Serie A medal

You could add a whole bunch of instances in transfer windows where he took too long to make signings or haggled over the smallest amounts therefore missed out on certain players - Grealish, Mane, Cahill etc.
Also wanted to furlough non-playing staff during the epidemic.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can’t believe you were close to trusting Levy again Spurtle. What the f** happened to you?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I never trusted him Don, let's just make that clear.
I just thought he approached last window well, making reasonable signings early by spending a bit (I mean you can't argue that Perisic, Bissouma or even Richarlison aren't decent additions on paper, in terms of the squad). You also can't argue that in getting someone like Conte in it showed a bit more ambition from him.
Anyway, we've seen that little has changed with recent decision making.
If he tries to keep hold of Kane against his will that will be 3 of the best players Spurs have had in the past 20 years in Eriksen, Dembele and Kane that he let leave for nothing after failing to build a decent team around them to enable us to win something.... Talk about having a lack of vision
By the way you missed one of the more obvious ones - not spending a dime on replenishing a squad that was on its last legs, for 18 months. No other team in PL history has done this.

I know, it's pretty much the reason we are where we are. Not only not spending anything in that time but losing Dembele while we do it. All this while coping with being in the CL and League Cup semis.
No wonder Poch won nothing with us, nor Jose, nor Conte. The 1 trophy in 20 years really does boil down to Levy.
who was it that took 3 months to sign Spence when the manager clearly didn't want him ????

You forgot hires Poch, who won SFA in five seasons, and purchased Ndombele, Lo Celso, Clarke, Sanchez, Nkoudou, Njie etc.

Here comes the WUM, doooo doooo doooo, and i say it’s alright…. Here comes the WUM dooooo doooo doooo doooo 🎶
Club signings.... Spence, Gill, Sess, Danjuma, Sarr.... all seem to have worked out great when you hire managers that demand the finished article
Easy to say he would have been rubbish after what happened to him but I reckon Berahino may have worked out under Poch at that time. Of course we didn't get him because Levy wanted to pay in instalments of £1.
I'm surprised finishing £400m over budget and numerous months late on the stadium isn't in there

Jack Grealish the worst one. Had it all agreed for 25 mil and Levy moved the goal posts last minute. Already been confirmed by Steve Bruce. Levy is an absolute c***
Did anybody mention furloughing staff

Yeah Grealish was literally a phone call away from joining us, I think he has said it himself. That signing could potentially have changed everything. Look how we've crumbled since that time.

Mentioned already.
It's easier to mention the things he did well from a footballing POV.
Bought VDV last minute.
Hired Redknapp.
That's about it isn't it? Hiring Poch probably shouldn't count seeing as he really wanted LVG.

Lol - Poch was actually third choice behind LVG and Frank De Boer. Levy, really, really, lucked out with that one.
That's some rap sheet right there
For me the transfer that really sticks in the craw is the (other) Dembele one from Fulham. I think we'd agreed a 6million fee or something only to walk away because Fulham wanted to keep him for the remaining half of the season, which while not ideal, was well worth it for the long term investment. Yes Dembele's career somewhat fizzled out but for several seasons at Celtic and Lyon he was exceptional and would have made a great second option to Kane. The absolute kicker was that we ended up signing Vincent Janssen for a significantly greater sum off the back of half a decent season in the Dutch league - absolute clownery.
At the start, he hired Jacques Santini because he didn't have the balls to hire Martin Jol on his own. Santini was sacked shortly after. Never forget the time he turned up to training with the cameras, there holding a history of Tottenham book lol
Also he wasted the Gareth Bale money on Loldado, Paulinho and quite a few others except for Eriksen.
Promised a cheese room...didn't deliver
