Dan Gore deserves a huge pat on the back. From U18s to U21s to staying with the first team squad on tour all in about six months

A smart choice. Imagine paying $100 to watch our u21 team.

It was pretty obvious United weren't going to play first teamers in this game when they play Real the day after. Wrexham play the LA Galaxy and Philadelphia Union B teams either side of this game. They're just trying to grow their brand.

If the US cameramen are anything like those in the UK they’ll spend half the time zooming in on Wrexham’s owners and the other half on what’s happening on the pitch

Wrexham played Chelsea too didn’t they, and some US teams scheduled for them.

Gonna be a bit of a comedown when the league 2 season starts after all the glamour they’ve had this summer in contrast to the other League 2 sides pre seasons

The Real fixture had not been confirmed when the Wrexham one came out and the tickets went on sale.

Ryan Reynolds will be hyping this up so much in their documentary. "Oh we got Man Utd". Stupid deadpool. But good for them, lucky buggers.

Pretty poor show from us here.

Maybe ETH thought it was more worthwhile having the whole first team play someone half decent instead.

I read that he also pushed to cut the ‘media days’ down from 3 to 2 for the whole tour, prioritising actual training.

It has been known for quite some time that it was only an U21 team, not sure it was known when they were flogging tickets though.

Ffs we lost 1-3 to Wrexham, wtf kind of marker for the season is this?

Pretty obvious our season is going to be a shambles after this summers window.

Looks from the highlights like it was pretty evenly matched in the first half (finishing 1-2). Wrexham using their physical superiority well.

Dan Gore sent off with a straight red at the start of the second half, then it was attack vs defence. Looks like the kids acquitted themselves pretty well defensively considering.

So not only did ten hag show utter contempt towards Wrexham with his team selection, he has also derailed wrexhams season. ETH HATES the welsh. Diafol, , berba, take note. …

This was basically the match thread so no wonder we lost.
