On a serious note, I hope we both drop a fair number of points and get a season full of twists and turns, not this 90+ points nonsense we're starting to get used to. Don't see it happening though, Celtic to win the league on at least 95 points with us not too far behind.

Well there would be lots of twist and turns (Tommy Burns) if VAR was property administered, and we had competent officials.

I've a feeling VAR is not going to improve, which is a real shame, as it could be a great thing for our game.

Glad Cormack has backed Robson and made some interesting signings instead of loans mostly

Conspiracy theories will abound about Hatate being for the off. I guess we would take something that nets a very good premium - our business model etc. Rumours that he has a release clause though don't know how much. Rumours persist the Saudis are interested.

OK, official prediction time for me.

At this time I will go against virtually all the SMSM pundits (Chris Jack excepted) and still tip Rangers for the league. Four reasons.

1. They've invested in the forward positions plugging one of last year's small gap.
2. IMHO Celtic have not materially improved with their signings and probably gone a bit back losing Jota?
3. Second comings rarely work out as expected - perhaps irrationally I can see BR going sour?
4. I can maintain some sort of moral victory should my team not win it.

I reserve the right to change once the window closes.

Fck it, I reserve the right to change at any time cf Mags.

Jota is a massive loss, his creativity was the difference in some tight matches last season. I was expecting two or three big signings for us, the new CB seems decent on paper, time will tell.

Rangers are the favourites this year, especially if they are as 'lucky' as they were last year.

We'll just get Jota back on loan!
