The biggest surprise for me is that we lost Didzy and we have failed to bring in an adequate replacement. I don’t like bashing players but Collins isn’t the answer. If we don’t bring someone in who can score on a regular basis we will be mid table at best.

Could not watch on Rams TV so had to rely on RD commentary from which it sounds as though I missed nowt! My general impression is that the whole team seemed to lack confidence during the first half when too few of them had much idea of what they were supposed to do. I found that amazing as I felt that the Wigan performance was not that bad. Better second half as Fozzie and Thommo seemed to inspire a bit of oomph and ditching three at the back seemed to help.

Have to ask why the abject start. New system with new players? Maybe. Two players having their heads turned by offers and thus affecting the rest of the team? Surely not. Bird must be one of the two but who could the other one be?

I am yet to be convinced that three at the back is the best option. Cashin was so good last season but so far seems less effective in a three. Will there be a different approach at Burton?

Would like to hear from any of you who were there.

Not saying I disagree Ken, but having come on after 73 mins, I think Collins can be absolved from much of the blame tonight. With the structure of our MF, its difficult to see any of the current crop scoring many more than a handful.
If Bird has had his head turned, why leave him on and take the skipper off ? 🤔
