It's not up for dispute how good Kane is and he would score plenty of goals for Ange but he's not his preferred type of striker for his system.

Expect Spurs to go and buy a high energy pressing centre forward for the system now.

What so veliz isn’t either then?

Absolute madness so near start of the season....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Totally. Dumb decision to sell now. We've built up a good squad near the start of the season and then we decide to sell our biggest and most important player.

Let's go into the season with a negative cloud over the team shall we.

I think Harry Kane is making a very poor decision here

He should run his contract down and stay in the PL
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Put yourself in his shoes. He has earned the right to do what he wants. Years of false dawns at Spurs have lead to this moment.

His comments on signing him, a big guy, very mobile.

It's gutting but he was always going at some point and we've been lucky to have him for as long as we have.

Despite what some are saying, £100m for a 30 year old with less than a year left on his contract is good business. Not that £100m can replace him, especially with no euro football to offer but maybe it's time for a new era. The team needed it if we're all being honest.

Anyway, he's not gone yet so there's still hope!

It's really messing with my fantasy team section though!

Shame to see him leave the prem.

Gift Orban will be the replacement.

Rapid, scored loads of goals, young.

Ange must be fuming with how this has all been handled. Would he have even been involved in the decision making for us agreeing terms?

This should have been sorted back at the end of the last season , not three days before our first game absolute shambles from Levy as per usual.

I never said he doesn't, i'm saying he should run down his contract, chase Shearers record and end up getting paid even more in 12 months time while choosing wherever he wants to go.

He still might. We all have to wait.

Bayern Munich have agreed a deal to sign England captain Harry Kane from Tottenham.

Kane now has a decision to make with the forward understood to be leaning towards staying with Tottenham.

Still a chance he could stay people

Kane will be our Kane replacement when we buy him back in 3 years time.

posted on 10/8/23

Meh - we did just fine the times he was out injured.

The rest of the team will have space to play now without him bumbling around the midfield losing possession and stinking the place up with his terrible free kicks.

THE MEDIA have a lot to answer for for pushing this transfer through.

No chance, Levy would be offering £8M and walking away from any asking price above that.

The thing that annoys me most is that instead of cashing in on Kane and using that £100M on reinforcing the team we will probably sign someone for like £40M in another position outside of a ST and try to keep the net spend "reasonable".

Be a bit mental if he said he didn’t want to go now, he’s had weeks to put a stop to this dreary saga if he’d have wanted to.
