The club has 3 weeks to determine if any more players will leave before the window closes on Sept.1st. How much influence Gary will have in keeping players, remains to be seen, especially if we need to increase our transfer profits.
As for Monday's game, at least he has an extra day or two to assess his squad and hopefully get's it right on Monday. From what I've been reading, he does have the ability to change his starting system depending on who we're up against. He favours both a back 3 and 4 and thankfully we have the players that can adjust to that. Plus, given the fact that some think we are short on cover at CB, a back 3 may be the best choice in some games.
With that said, let's all get behind Gary and the lads and who knows, we may get some kind of result against United. As Greavsie once said. "It's a funny ol' game"

It’s a huge ask for Gary in all the circumstances- little managerial experience, doesn’t know the players and they don’t know him, no time to prepare, but of course I wish him all the best
best to be positive we do have a decent squad
