1) Bissouma & Maddison played great. You build the team around them
2) We were unlucky with the CB issue today. VDV's Pace and Romero's agression is a nice combo
3) Front 3 were appalling. Madders in particular was always looking for good movement & there was nothing.
4) The keeper is young and gets a bit of pass, The frustration of losing Raya's to Arsenal's bench for whats gonna be 30mln quid is beyond annoying!!!!! ... Levy get your shlt together.... I don't think this kid will be the answer but gotta give him time. He stinks of Cheap Parratici alternative from Italy (Tired of these)
5) Limited ability DMs don't work in this system, PEH was dropped and Skipp looked totally lost. You need to be able to play to start in this MF... Sarr & GLC every day till Bents is fit
6) The FBs have gotta figure out the right time to push inside, we were way too exposed down the channels/ In behind them in the first half But Royal & Udogie are the nailed-on starters

Levy.... Sign a Pacy/ Sharp CF that makes runs for Madders, Sign another winger to let Kulu know his place isn't a cert and get Tapsoba so we have 3 Proper CBs with Philips in Reserve

Do that and this Angeball stuff might just work... Overall, a positive day all things considered.

After last years shambles with Conte, I'd forgotten just how good Bissouma is..... Played like Dembele today... Thought he was great !!!!

Exactly my thoughts. Although I think he's banned from any football related activity including training, but I'm sure there are ways around this.

The 4 months is a ball ache, but if we are really talking about a long term rebuild then in the scheme of things it's nothing if it means getting the right/best players possible. If the club announced this plus Tapsoba then I'd be satisfied with our business (or as satisfied as any Spurs fan could be in the wake of selling Kane).

The keeper situation still irks though, but got to give Vicario a chance I guess.

Think you have to look at the bigger picture rather than just game on game comparisons. Spurs beat City twice last season..... doesn't make us better than City (they won a treble fyi)

I`m not fussed about Toney but I would take him over nothing, we should be going out and buying a top level CB, an upgrade on Hojbjerg, a quality RB and a CF
