Very true, as for tomorrow I don't think that many if any expect us to get through this round of the CL. Indeed as has been said some time ago, it may be more beneficial to be in the Europa.

Id say we are still a good couple of months off a settled attack that has fully gelled. Not sure we will get horsed but PSV will go through fairly comfortably IMO.

No qualms with that tbh. Champions League is definitely not our level.

I think our tactics could work better in Europe and in bigger games where there is more space. When I say work better, just shouldn’t be as congested in attack.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we started with a back 5 given our defensive issues. Hoping Cantwell or Hagi start in the number 10 role tomorrow. Dessers looked better at the weekend, but still a risk starting him. I’d have Sima and Danilo as the two starting up top.

Would expect maybe a loan with an option to buy given the severity of his fitness issues over the past two seasons.

If we go with the 5 then it’s pointless having Jack in midfield. So Cantwell would move to cm, and I’d expect Danilo and Sima as the front two.

Think we’ll see the 5 at the back away against PSV, not sure we will at home.
