Yeah Tierney will be fuming. He's got away with a lot but couldn't get away with that one.

The evidence is stacked against him, surely now they will remove him from Liverpool games. Remove Taylor also and it's an extra few points a season.

Quite right too 👍

Tierney should be at fault anyway because he oversaw the incident and still said it was a red. The referee only saw in that one moment.

Yeah but they probably hid behind clear and obvious error. I'd love to hear the audio at Stockley Park.

Hope they train up refs specifically for VAR and stop using on-field refs to do it.

I didn't realise the panels were independent! Actually allowed common sense to prevail

Yeah they need to be independent of each other. Backing up your mates and all that.

Probably requesting his donation to Tierney is refunded.

If we still have to deal with Taylor then you can deal with Tierney

The problem is we have to deal with Taylor also. Put simply you should not have Machester referees at Liverpool games or games which are potentially title deciding when up against a Manchester club, for example when Arsenal went up against City last season.

Somehow every big game Liverpool get Manchester referees, including against Manchester clubs which is ridiculous.

None of the refs born in and around Manchester don't support either United or City, they all support random small lower league teams.

That may well be the case but they will have brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, parents, friends etc etc who are. Although it's interesting that all the referees from Manchester don't support a Manchester club. Sounds suspicious. There is also the Manchester/Liverpool rivalry. Now it could be none of this plays a part, although that's difficult to believe when watching the games but why have the potential for conflict of interest? Just remove it. There's loads of other referees outside Manchester.

Also I was born in belfast and whilst my father is from Liverpool, I support Liverpool but I certainly favour the closest Irish League club to me.

Excellent it's been rescinded, huge game Vs Newcastle and having Mac available is massive.

Weirdly, there will be a real good feel factor around the club now. Mac red card dismissed, bajcetic available and heading into next match of a good win...nice.
