These loans ate an absolute disgrace

if the loan clauses had expired, as we were told, then this loan is what the club wanted otherwise they would have said no.

I bet we'll hear that Sinisterra wanted to leave blah blah blah, but again, we were told by Farke that all was sorted out.

Overall and awful window.

^^^

That's your opinion though. It's not fact.

In my opinion, Hammond and Steinsson have done
an impressive job picking through the pile of dung left
behind. Navigated some of the worst clauses ever seen.

And built a squad that would beat last season's squad
all day long. I for one, think we're better equipped for
this division now. Post the guy running La Liga's last
placed team.

Regardless. Hope we smash Sheff Weds so I can
give sh 1 t to another portion of my family.

I think I read somewhere Costa will most likely leave for a Saudi club for some kind of transfer fee God knows what but probably peanuts before their transfer window closes next week.

If you think it's not an overall awful window then you must think that loaning out 10 players when we could have got fees for them is good.

It is immaterial who is to blame for that, the FACT is that happened this window, your opinion might be that's good, mine is that is it awful.

If wed have sold sini for 30m and signed a left back and a ten it would have been a decent window.

Rodon, Spence, Anthony all loans. Probably won't be here next season.

Sinisterra had threatened legal action over the release clause in his contract. Leeds wanted to keep him but chose to avoid possible legal battle by allowing him to go.

Were only prepared to lose him if a replacement could come in. Anthony is it:

Only a win tomorrow will remove the sour feeling that's been left in the pits of our guts by tonight's events.

I look at the first part of the window as two separate
elements. First is, we lost a ton of money due to insane
contract clauses. Who created those? We don't know
for sure. We do know Orta was integral. Criminal.

God awful start to the window.

What did that expose? We had a squad full of sh 1 te players who did not want to be here. Rats jumping the
ship they sank. We also realized who the fck would
repay us the 25 mill for Aaronson? No one. Who the
fck would repay us the amounts we paid for the rest?
No one. They are a dire collection of players who I for
one never want to see in a Leed shirt again.

The second part is manager recruitment. Who did our
new ownership identify and hire as our new leader:
Farke. So far, brilliant hire for this division.

As part of bringing in Farke, the club then went and
signed the best striker in this division. And added to
the squad really well IMO.

Today was anti-climactic for sure. We lost Sini.
Phil Hay is now reporting that Sini and his agent
threatened to sue LUFC if he didn't get the move.

Excellent player. But, just another rat who didn't
want to be on HMS Relegated. Fck him. Fck the
lot of them. I want to support players who want to
be here.

Well what an absolute cant he is considering the few games he actually wore the Leeds shirt last season and he threatened legal action so he could leave for that giant of football AFC Bournemouth..I take back everything I said previously about him... Good riddance!

When a player threatens legal action against the club
(and fans) who pay his wages because he couldn't
give a fck about you any more, it says a ton about them.

Arguably the best player in the Championship.

And an utter tw 4t.

Good news: we still own him.

And we still own the other collection of weak minded
tw4ts that also skunked off. Sell them next summer
for whatever we can and kick them in the ar4e as
they exit stage left. That will be the end of the Orta era.

What a shame we dont have someone who specialised in contracts on our board when we signed him.

Seriously, 49ers have a lot to answer over these contracts.

For me, window and all this Orta drama is done.

Now it's all about the product on the pitch.

Hope we thrash them tomorrow.

Club decided to avoid legal action, because it knew it would lose, which says it all.

I dont blame player wanting away, I blame club for being utterly inept at contracts.

posted on 2/9/23

Agree Jonty.

No wonder 49ers are so quiet.
They’ve cost the club tens of millions and potentially set us back years

posted on 2/9/23

We cant have kept him with that attitude.

Not convinced but will get behind new lad. Should have signed a 10 not another winger
