I don't think so. He's built a team that looks really exciting. Also shouldn't Pau Torres be on that list?

wasn't sporting director last summer

Considering Villa's financial and pulling power..those are top signings.

I'm just glad we have more hands on deck to help sell Dier and the other deadwood

But look at where they have got to. They finished above Spurs last season

Fans need to judge from what they see, not just going by Big names.

Plenty on here called Vicario the cheapskate option and stating we only went for Maddison because he was a bargain.

A lot of those Villa players are integral to their progress and now they have a manager who knows what they are doing and can get the best out of them they are thriving.

3/4 of those players aren’t the ones doing well for villa

i think the transfers were ok before Gerrard arrived and took a lot of control - those windows under Smith they only signed one outfielder over the age of 26, and then suddenly in 2 windows under Gerrard they signed 5.

7 of those players started against Wolves with another 7 on the bench. 3/4 not being good doesn't make sense

Just watching motd2. Duran's finish against Palace in the goal of the month comp.. looks tidy for a teenager

I wouldn't be too concerned what Lange has done at Villa. By all accounts Ange has had the final say on signing like VDV, Madders, Vicario and BJ.

The way I see it Lange is there to utlise the new data system we have to identify players and it's up to Ange to decide from a list of players he provides.

Paratici, will be on hand as well but it would be foolish to take away any power Ange currently has, considering the success rate of our summer signing so far.

Looking at what Villa fans are saying, he did a decent job but they're not sad about it. Buendia, Ings and Bailey from the Grealish money was one example given.. not wow signings but then Villa aren't a big draw.

I do like Buendia and Bailey was well thought of at the time

Ings signing I did not like at the time but lots thought it was a no brainer

And look what they paid for them.

These are mid value players who are performing at a higher level than that.

Their budgets are plenty smaller than Spurs.

Villa spend half of what we do, gross & net. Net spend of 100m over the last 3 seasons which is less than Spurs this summer.

Villa have been shopping in the shops they can afford to. I like the look of that Diaby guy

Didn't Diaby cost like 55m? Spending the Europe money

I'd like to know which of Munn, Lange or Paratici will be responsible for selling our deadwood. Usually this would be the DoF but he seems to specialise in recruitment more than sales.

TBF the deadwood is largely gone.

Dier's contract ends next summer.

Davies is useful cover and if he goes in the summer there will no doubt be some takers, he's a great steady pro.

There seem to be takers for GLC and PEH if we want them sold.

Its only NDombele and that will take a miracle. He's a wrong-un.
