Rumours that Gil has been performing well in training and will play some part tonight

I think the physicality think at Gil is a bite dated now. He played well against Traore. And that on paper is the biggest physical mismatch he will come against.

PEH and Sarr need to move the ball quickly if we are to have any success.

If Johnson is fit enough then start him. Seems like a good game for him to come into, the sort of game you'd think we could bury our opponents in the first half if on our game.

For once would like us to score early against a low block team.

So far we've had clear penalties denied and missed sitters early on. Hopefully this changes today with an early goal for us

He definitely needs game time in the prem to get use to the physical side of things

Modric took ages to adjust but he at least played and got use to it …..just comparing build not ability

I’m still hoping he comes good as he seems a silky player but he needs minutes rather than loans now

For low block teams we need to try and get wider and exploit the byline more and/or do well on the counters for when they do dare to venture forward. Johnson fits that profile of player better than Richarlison would.

Struggling to think of loans last working other than Kane but he only did well at milwall

Last player I can remember shining on loan then coming back and being a success is walker
