So if we are all agreed Israel continues to exist, what next.
I did an article with my views, but I would like to know what in Poland, son of Quebec, K7 think should happen.
My views are only based on what I read in newspapers, and talking to a handful of people.

Antisemitism isn't growing in a vacuum. The state of Israel and it's actions is one thing that encourages antisemitism IMO.

But there have been attacks on Muslims in Syria, China etc.

Suddenly when it happens in Gaza people decide to take notice.

You can argue Israel is being heavy handed in its response, but if we had a terrorist group on our doorstep that wanted to annihilate us, we’d all be doing the same.

And many protested against those too. We saw Arsenal throw Ozil under the bus over that.

And Israel is the occupier. Resistance is allowed by the occupied. We just had an Israeli Politician talk about nuking Gaza so don't talk about annihilation when it's not just one side or group that wants that of the other.

The protests are not to the same extent, nowhere near. Most of those protesting are peaceful but there has been an element that has called for jihad and the annihilation, and the police have bent over backwards to avoid having to confront it.

It’s actually shocked me the level of open anti-semitism I’ve seen in the last few weeks in London. I can understand why Jews would be terrified living in London and in major cities in the west.

I can empathise with that but at what point do people start pointing at the apartheid in Palestine as a major contributor to this?

Also, it is almost guaranteed that actual antisemitic elements will infiltrate any Pro-Palestinian rights movement or demonstration, sadly.

I don't usually comment on these types of threads because they generally descend into slanging matches very quickly.

But, I am worried that so many people get their "News" off TickTok and X.

Back to the OP. Most British people do actually want peace in the world. I certainly do. But for some reason, people still believe in a fairlytale (the best story ever told) that the Bible, Koran and other religious texts portray!!. How can anyone believe this nonsense in 2023???

Two separate states, and disputed areas under international control for the time being. No more reason for one to be aggressive against the other. Take it from there.

Pretty much. For one, it will take away the core reason why Hamas finds support.

Secondly, people speak about Gaza but have you seen what's happening in the West Bank? Palestinian shops were ordered to close and anyone leaving their home would be killed. By day the IDF roam and by night it's the settlers. If Hamas are terrorists then what does that make the settlers and the IDF in the West Bank? Such a solution would actually help limit this and prevent more bloodshed and the theft of land.

How is Hamas first to go? It should be the other way around. How do you propose to eliminate Hamas anyway? We've fought many wars to eliminate terrorists and yet they world has never been more insecure. You can't eliminate an ideology with bombs and missiles. Even if you kill them all then more will just take their place because the occupation and apartheid is still going on.

Your first paragraph is what needs to happen first. This will do most of the job of finishing Hamas as it will erode their support and limit their recruitment. They will be not worth the trouble to Palestinians and hiding will become difficult.

Human rights first. Human rights cannot come second to anything, least of all a terrorist organisation. I shouldn't have to be pointing this out. Brainwashed.

Exactly. But expecting majority of the general Public to understand or even care about such facts is hopeless. Israel is not the Jews, just like you are not Britain or NATO.

Are you responsible for the illegal wars that killed hundreds of thousands in Iraq and Afghanistan? I didn't think so. In the same way Jews across the world and even citizens of Israel are not to blame for anything IMO.

Is anyone who expresses a different opinion to yours brainwashed? I didn’t even mention bombs or missiles, you did. An open election needs to happen in Gaza and hopefully people won’t be stupid enough to vote for Hamas again.

So let’s assume Hamas stays. Should they be the ones who conduct peace talks on behalf of the Palestinians?

Israel dont want open elections in Gaza, they're quite happy with Hamas in charge as it suits their Ethnic Cleansing agenda.

Of course Israel is a Jewish country.
