Of course no one can really predict how any player will do when coming to a league but I feel that Jota would do fine, great control, decent pace and an eye for goal and as Hec said he does enjoy the game and respects Ange
Think he would be a decent signing for you if given some time to settle and games

Well exactly, we’ve a snowballs chance in hell at the Etihad, yet 2 winnable games at home in the 7 days afterwards - sometimes it’s better to concede the battle and win the war.
It’s not Ange’s style though, we will probably attack them at full pelt and ply well but be carved open at the back and let in 4 or 5. My prediction is 4-1 to City with us missing a couple of sitters.
It would be nice though if we could get through 90 minutes without an injury or suspension - but that feels like too much to ask for at this point.

I just don't subscribe to all these tin hat BS theories. Every club is linked with 12s of players every window....but all our links are fed by Levy, because deliberately building up hopes only to then dash them is a classic expectation management technique....NOT!
What is funny that peoples hatred is so off the chart that they cannot even see that what they write is BS and makes no sense.
If Levy was interested in preserving his position or increasing popularity, he would under promise and overdeliver. Not the other way around! That's just common sense.
So i am not standing up for Levy, i'm simply applying logic to undermine a crackpot conspiracy theory

Imagine if Ange left at the end of Jan and simply said he wasn’t backed when he needed it - there would still be absolute devotees to dear leader that would come on here and defend the man.
If I am honest though, I suspect even Levy won’t dare to not buy a CB this window, he knows the crowd will be all over him otherwise and no one’sturning on Ange so it will only be himself getting it. I just don't subscribe to all these tin hat BS theories. Every club is linked with 12s of players every window....but all our links are fed by Levy, because deliberately building up hopes only to then dash them is a classic expectation management technique....NOT!
What is funny that peoples hatred is so off the chart that they cannot even see that what they write is BS and makes no sense.
If Levy was interested in preserving his position or increasing popularity, he would under promise and overdeliver. Not the other way around! That's just common sense.
