A club like spurs should certainly aim to be in Europe every season. I’d prefer Liverpool in the Europa conference than nothing

He has me filtered to stop me seeing his articles and comments. It's how it works. If I didn't want you seeing my articles due to privacy reasons etc. then I would filter you, but I don't see the need.

Yes, however if we’re in the non CL comps - we seem to go as weak as possible rather than try to win it - Dutton the domestic cups.

Obviously not right now as the injuries are catastrophic but even Europa or Conference games keep you engaged. One thing I've noticed though is that when your own club isn't in the Europa or Conference league, you really see how forgettable those comps are. It's proper graveyard stuff. No one cares. That said, when we're in it, it's obviously the best competition in the world

Very true Fridge - the group games are woeful with virtually no ties of interest. Liverpool have a group that Luton would qualify from, West Ham have an even easier group and Villa in the conference have a group even Celtic under Brendan could qualify from.

And from next year there will be 8 Europa group games

Same, plus it’s better for the players (experience) more games for the fans, and prestige for the club.
