Back in the day over here a drop of brandy in a babies bottle or rub some on their gums when teething was common place to “help” them sleep

Is that plastic Norwegian fit this weekend
Can’t replace Shane or any of the Pogues, music is just not being made like that now. It’s the plastic era.
He’s probably up there now drinking Peter O’Tool, George Best and Oliver Reed under the table of the Pearly Gates inn.
The Pogues were so much more Farytale of New York, great band, with a number of great Irish songs underpinned by great lyrics and storytelling through Shane’s charasmatic style.
