Such a shame about VDV and Romero.

I feel like Johnson is wasted on the left. He doesn’t look great on the right yet (🤞🏻) and he looks uncomfortable on his weaker foot other than his well-taken goal. Not sure he’s actually fit yet!

Johnson needs more work. Only time will tell if he's going to be good for us but we've had snippets of good play from him and he does have pace. May as well go on the left.

It's a game that you need players to raise their levels from where they were before and City to have a below standard performance. Front 3 need to be more clinical. Seems pointless to talk about what the defence need to do. Without Romero and VDV you just have to hope for the best.

Kulu is a 10 - no idea why he persists as a winger as he is clearly more suited to the 10.

I like him a lot, but i think come next year he will be heavily rotated providing we keep Ange and back him properly.

He could even play with Maddison centrally against low block teams. Maddison Kulu Bissouma. Attack is the way!!

Don't know anything about Jota, but I see he's played for Celtic, so Aussieglue must know him.
He's a "winger", so having Jota and Kulushevski on the same side may be a bit too much attack and not enough defence.?

It all depends upon whether you want an attacking setup against City, or a defensive one.
If you go for a back 4: Porro, Dier, Enerson, Udogie
then you need a midfield that's more defensive also,
so who replaces Jota?
And then you have to drop Kulushevski or Johnson!

My own opinion is that the 3-4-3 setup above will lose to City.
