Richard Keys says we should go for Xabi Alonso.

Makes sense, as the stadium is looking a bit Xabi these days.

United’s new minority owner will want to make a statement, and ETH could be the first of many changes.

Don’t worry United fans, Jim'll fix it for you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Why would we worry? I will be quite happy if Jim comes in and gets rid of Murtough and his inept staff.

Not fussed if he sacks ETH either.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
FFS VC, that went right over your head. Thought you were far more intelligent than this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then the joke is on you😆

Of course it didn’t go over my head Termy. I just decided to ignore your Jimmy Saville joke for being crap really.

I have never thought you were intelligent, if that helps.

Just reading about this on ESPN and I found this part a little odd:

"Among the issues being raised privately among some players are Ten Hag's intense training sessions since the preseason tour of the United States, and what are considered to be cavalier tactics which have left the team open, particularly during the 3-3 draw against Galatasaray and the defeat at Newcastle."

I really don't think we can be accused of being cavalier this season. In fact I don't think I've heard anyone say this about us.

And in what was pretty much a must-win game against Galatasaray we didn't have much choice but to keep on attacking. Nor were the goals we conceded anything to do with the team being open.

Sure why not. Anybody can come in as long as he isn't going to come in and play a player who clearly needs some tough love and a knock in the head.

His midfield formation was designed for the midfield to be left open. This is undeniable by the regular combination of 2 to 3 attacking minded midfielders but that was beside the point.

For me, my problem is why have a formation that needs players certain ways, instructed by him to do so and come out complaining about them while STILL STARTING THEM EVERY GAME STILL. What about that bit of information tells you he was never going to lose the players? If you don't intend to give bench players a chance to prove themselves regularly, you will lose them when you show clearly your choices of starters do not depend on your form, just how he feels. Thats the fastest way to lose the dressing room.

Let's not forget everyone..... This manager finished two places above Klopp in his very first season and most people saying he's rubbish.

What does that make yellow teeth?

😂
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We just having a rest that season, yeah klopp won the lot tbf
----------------------------------------------------------------------

What about the season he finished below Ole and the one he finished below Jose?
3 finishes below United since he came to England and we've been a shambles for 90% of that time. Puts things into perspective massively.

We haven't finished above City since 2013. Finished above this amazing Klopp team 3 times though. Don't think he can be classed as one of all the time greats for that reason alone.

My intelligence comment was mockery btw, but you’ll tell me you knew that though

If Sancho genuinely thinks he's got a future here if ETH gets sacked (and I reckon he's deluded enough to think he might), he's got a whole nother thing coming.

If he ever runs out at OT again, he will receive the worst reception any home player has ever got. I guarantee it.

It's incredible just how poorly advised he is. It's clear from his behaviour and even his interviews that he isn't a very bright man.

If he was half as smart as he is stubborn, he'd be in Mensa, but surely his agent or other advisors should be telling him to stop being a silly, unprofessional wee gobshite. He's 23, not 12. Expecting him to turn up for training on time and not pin a tweet slagging his manager off isn't a big ask

Jim won’t be associated with failure, I have a feeling the next few games are critical for ETH wouldn’t even be surprised if it wasn’t Jim’s team starting the pressure on the manager, could be bloodshed ahead both squad and manager.

There are posters on here saying ETH should be able to handle the situation better, another stick to beat the manager with.
Imo if nothing else ETH has made all the right moves with him and Ronnie, and maybe Varane for all I know.
He's certainly got Maguire on side and playing well.

Called it ages ago about Sancho outlasting ETH.

Also said about lots of people saying how bad the United dressing room is and that ETH was just trying to raise standards.

I don't think he's managed to play his first team once this season either.

Genuinely no idea where they would go to form here.

4 times!

LVG, Jose, Ole and ETH have all finished above Klopp. Considering how bad we've been that's some going!

You seem to think ETH is some kind of victim here, he is a guy on 10 million a year expected to be capable of handling one of the biggest jobs in world football, high profile players, agents and media included in the deal.

He isn’t doing a very good job of it, the Sancho situation should never have been allowed to get this far so publicly,Ronaldo obviously didn’t rate him, Varane it seems the same similar rumours from Casemiro,

We have had the worst result in our entire history including Newton Heath under his stewardship and possibly facing it again, we don’t even compete in most high profile matches, the football is tedious and ponderous and not a single player other than Maguire looks happy who the manager wanted to throw out the door along with Degea for the clown he replaced him with.

I really don’t know what you are seeing I will be there on Wednesday night and it costsme £1900 a year for two season tickets to watch us strive to beat Luton 1-0.

If your happy with it then fine but I can tell plenty in the ground are not and no it isn’t just the manager but in my opinion he is only making a bad situation worse.

There have been quite a few snakes named in the PL in recent years actually. Luis Boa Morte, Robin Vipersie, Fernando Constrictorres, Zlatan Cobrahimovic. But all things currently are pointing to Onanaconda. Which may be his nickname for em...other reasons?
