I hardly remember seeing McTominay except for a wasteful shot.
Amrabat just looked miles off the pace to me. I don't know if it's physical or mental but he just seemed to lumber about the pitch pulling out of challenges because he was too slow or too indecisive.
He seriously needs to sharpen up if he's going to play in the PL.

I'm not as down on him as some people. As I think he's competitive and he's pretty good at winning the ball and starting attacks. But the issue is that he just doesn't have the ability to actually pass to a teammate when he does get the ball and is pressured.
Still don't think he's been as bad as has been made out but he was our worst player today, and by some margin as most players did their jobs well today. Hojlund struggled again too I felt
Mainoo is class. We should be looking to build our midfield around him. Already looks like our best player from the pool available and will only get better.

You are probably right. Why can't we get players fit?
Mainoo is hardly the worst kept secret, even Pep is a fan! As long as he progresses, as long as he steers clear of injuries there will come a point he'll need to decide whether Utd are the club to take him to the next level. I desperately hope we become a serious side because imagine this kid in a good midfield with players on his wavelength!
We have a few potential in the next few years - Mainoo, Gore, Shea Lacey
