Yes please, sack another good manager. I'll get tickets to the circus that is Todd boehlys recruitment team to see who he picks next.

If sterling squares that chance in the first half then Chelsea go 1-0 up and it’s a different game.

Chelsea were by far the better team in the first half but just don’t score goals - miss Jackson is a joke and is Broja the best Chelsea can do.

The good news of course is that Nkunku is fit and already off the mark - maybe things will start going Chelsea’s way

What these dumb players need is a strong ruthless hand like the old mourinho not some tool living on his laurels of being able to train young kids.

Pochettino is a taskmaster, quite well documented one. Potter was the soft touch.

Also not sure you fully understand Mourinho? He's the father type when it comes to player relations - texting them every day, blowing smoke up their @rse 24/7, etc...

Tactically it's a dreadful clash too. He gives the attacking players freedom to express themselves/doesn't train attacking patterns. Have you seen our attackers?

Every kind of manager or coach with all sorts of tactics is giving ours a run for his money. The commentators kept calling it as they could see what was going to happen next, our manager just sat there expecting miracles. We all knew we were going to concede from a corner, we all knew a goal was going to come from a mistake at the back. For gods sake play for a draw away from home and build from there especially as our forwards are useless.

Under mourinho our forwards were not great but we dam sure had the best defense and that beough 3 premier league trophies and many more.
I am not asking for mourinho but in his day you cant make mistakes like our defense do regularly with no pressure and then expect to play the next game. Something is not right with the training and it needs to be plugged

Yeah Poch's tactics mind isn't anything special, one of those managers who feels very much like a 'head coach'.

If Boehly & co wanted a tactician, they inherited a great one & chucked him in the bin.

Potter was WAY WAY out of his depth & he knew it

Poch is a serial failure-ist except in a farmers league with the only decent team in it

Isn't getting invested in the job enough, playing players that are CLEARLY not good enough, allowing ill discipline to rule the team in both cards & clinical finishing

We should have got Simeone...not Pochy-Spursy

All of this is that caant Putin's fault we bossed the gaff with Roman at the helm now we are vying for the laughing stock cup with Utd

The only way we are getting anything out of this season is potentially winning a mick cup & getting a GENUINE goal scorer in the side

We are looking at about four currenly & Nkunku ought to be good enough too

Broja needs shipping out - ideally as a makeweight on a replacement - was NEVER good enough

Lol. Love paddy powers, best comedians ever. Sterling should be fined and anyone who advocates for him to be in the England team should be spanked

Chelsea are the next Man Utd and could become seriously cut off from the elite sides. Like Man U, they've just splashed silly sums of cash on apparent super talented individuals without any sense of a system or identity, They don't gel or fit any kind of system and look like a bunch of individuals. Brighton, Liverpool, Man C heck, even Brentford have a style of play (identity) and they sign players to FIT that identity, not spunking billions as if playing football manager.

Spurs were in that bracket, but Post has given them an identity and style of players and players are being added to that way of playing. Chelsea and Man U aint going anywhere until they clear out there dross and find an identity. Bielsa transformed Leeds over just the summer window, as did Post at Spurs, it doesn't necessarily take years if you get the right coach in.

First half were in total control of the game, same old story chances not taken.

No excuses for Sterling not to square that ball off to Palmer for a tap in.

The keeper actually started to go down so Sterling also had the option to take it to his left and roll it in himself but just head down and take neither option open to him.

The second half was an absolute sh@tshow from beginning to end.

Ugo (who should probably be out on loan) standing and watching Lemina head the opener, no desire to even attempt a challenge.

Mistakes all over the pitch and changes made too late imo.

Amazing how we can go from totally dominating a half to simply collapsing in the second.

Also the moronic lack of discipline by petulant players who pick up unnecessary yellows and miss the next game as a result. Mudryk really annoyed me as well, losses the ball through his own inabilty to shield it and then throws a hissy fit as if its the ref's fault.

Oh well, at least its xmas lol , enjoy everybody whoever you support

happy xmas to all.

It'll sound silly but I think the way a club is perceived & it's cultural makeup is something people greatly underestimate. In our case we've had an identity since the mid-90's of being London's flashy alternative club full of style & personality (which gives us an arrogant quality). This got stronger with Abramovich & Mourinho harnessed this into a rapid siege mentality where we embraced being the "bad guys". By the mid-late noughties we were the equivalent of a suit wearing wrestling heel cutting a long af promo to hear those sweet boos

One huge problem we have (IMO) is despite playing this role VERY well, for the longest time we've tried to shed this image and I don't know why? Clubs like Inter have thieved on this! Atletico happily make Simeone the richest coach in the world because he gives them this! It's something to be proud of but the club (under Roman & these guys) have always given me the impression though certain decisions made that they disagree.
