Learn what?

He has a way of playing that he thinks is effective?

You can’t win every game.

Give him time and better players…… or just, you know, hound him out? 🤷‍♂️

‘Tic fan in peace, but think you might have a long wait expecting Ange to change. Would have him back in a heartbeat though, before Brendanball bores us to death.

Don’t want him to change.

Want him to have more than six months, better / his players and time.

Some fans of ours are just clowns.

Worth giving him time. At least you can see what he’s trying to achieve … and it’s not dull!

It`s up to Levy to finally back his manager to the required levels.

I won`t be holding my breath. Like Conte, Mourinho etc before him, Ange will find out soon enough what he is up against.

No

I just want alternative tactics when the situation or players dictate.

Four full backs and PEH fall into both the descriptions above.

Also, a little worried about in game management

If we didn’t have the injuries & suspensions we have, we’d be challenging right at the top…

We just need a better squad of players…

I don’t think we’ve won, when Romero & Van de Ven, have been missing.

It's all relevant to the players that the manager has available to play

Once again fans showing no patience.
Firstly Brighton played extremely well and certainly deserved to be winning at half time.

We are short of creativity in the middle of the park whilst Maddison, Bentancur & Bissouma are out. We have lost both our first choice CB’s and have to resort to playing fullbacks in their place.
We have no God given right to win games, we have to earn that.
Thought Sarr was slightly off the pace tonight, as was Kulu. Hjoberg did okay, but think we need to teach Richie to delay his runs slightly to avoid being offside so often.

We looked really good in the final 10 minutes or so, but there was nothing we could do about Estuipan’s great shot.
Thought Vicario was again excellent. We did look more industrious once Gil & Lo Celso came on, although the latter’s tackle was poor to give Brighton a second penalty. Thought Dunk was fortunate that his bad tackle only attracted a instead of a

Some fans just want instant success.

The manager has a way of playing. He was hired because of that. Give him better players and better depth and we won’t see as many of these (Chelsea, Brighton, West Ham, Villa) results (not saying we’d have won any of these full strength).

It’s for the players on the pitch to change and adapt.

Getting thrashed, no subs by the 60 minute mark.

That is not 'not having patience'

That is rank bad decision making.

Feel free to defend the inaction, but please have the decency to read what I have written and what I am saying.

But we’re getting thrashed because the players on the pitch are:

A) playing a new system - it’ll have ups and downs
B) largely fringe players at the moment - players I doubt Ange wants
C) shattered because available players are thin on the ground

I’m not sure what “decisions” you expect to be made; the bench was crap.

I WANT him to persevere as he sees fit: and when Madders, Bents, Biss, VDV etc come back AND we get upgrades AND the players become more accustomed to the style I expect these types of results to stop - so have patience.

If after two years we’re going down 4-0 to Brighton then I’ll start to doubt it’s going to work.

No subs until the 60min.

Did you see the state of our bench? Terrible argument.

Nothing wrong with persisting with our style of play, I absolutely love it and tbh I don’t think it would work shutting up shop or hoofing it etc when we have our B team because you need to create and identity.

My issue is persisting with players like Gil, and not giving our U21s more of a chance, particularly with the injury crisis and the U21s being top of their league. His subs could be more proactive too

Ange looked pist off in his post match interview, Levy has probably told him no new players until Jan 31st

Postecoglou: “We looked tired and it’s also understandable because we've been on this run for a while now”.

“Players giving everything. Even if they aren't sharp physically they're still giving everything they possibly can and were still trying hard late in the game”.

“Expect” was probably a better word to use.

Glad you took away the important points I made 🤣

We all know we lack squad depth and the rebuild won’t happen overnight although I do agree with the OP Ange sometimes needs to be more adaptable; the Chelsea debacle still rankles but prior to the new season most on here we’re prepared to see progress on the football front and let a few transfer windows play out.

Not helped with injuries, suspensions , international call ups and Ange will need to earn his wage in the next couple of months.

To think a win tonight would have taken us 3 points behind the leaders during the half way stage of the season. All our fans would have taken that after last seasons and the previous years debacle.

Who would you like to come on? we don't have anyone to change the game, ange knows that so do most sensible fans, it's how it is hopefully change in the next month or 2

I think main problem is we all know we have issues and need reinforcements … if they ever come and players to come back from injury. However what irks most of us is we just cannot seem to lose 1-0 or 2-1 and think we were just unlucky. Instead its always a major drama…

We are a work in progress once again and we have to accept it for what it is. Ange can onlly do what he can with the players he has. Hopefully Levy will help him ….. i doubt it but we can dream the dream

Lo Celso and Veliz for a start, but that is stating the bleeding obvious. Lo Celso would be in for PEH for me from the start.

Son has too many nothing games to be captain, but called that from the start.

Also, the amount of off side goals, surely some coaching for this. I know that's a bit harsh, but so frustrating.

No manager is above constructive criticism and the blind following no questions asked, follow the process attitude is mind boggling.

No one is saying Ange out, you'd think I was banging for his removal from some of these reactions.
