So you're still with us Uncle Herbert. Thanks for the info although it should be North of us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No worries - heading north west, as they often do. Heading for Crystal Lake, now.
Big Reed Timmer fan - still chasing after 13 hours on the road.

Spanish team Real Sociedad who are through to the last 16 of the Champions League are said to be keen to sign Pablo Sarabia in January
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We'd be mad to sell him given his recent form. He's currently creating the most chances per 90 minutes in the Premier League.
Not sure it's wise to sell him, unless it's substantially more than the 5m Euros we paid for him. No way we should loan him out.
Don't know his value to other clubs, but if we were buying him now he would be worth £20m+ to us
I suspect he won’t be sold, but I guess Sarabia will now be concerned whether he will retain his place in the team now Neto is fit

Is this some spy communication?? wtf
Jorge Mendes is evidently on the case to try to persuade Hugo Etikite of PSG to join Wolves on loan in January.
Another player being watched is Chris Betia of Servette in Switzerland. The Ivorian striker has scored 28 goals in 2023.
To help him get a move elsewhere Wolves are prepared to accept an offer of just £2.5m for Jonny
I hope the Etikite rumours aren’t true.
Kids evidently got mental health issues. Too risky.

I'm guessing Herb is stateside, storm chasing but how wolfie got the"info" remains a mystery???
Matt Hobbnobs has spoken on the January window:
"If players have gone out on loan, we can look to replace them, but they’ve got to be better than what we’ve got" - encouraging
But also:
"...we have some talented young players coming through who want more minutes off the bench" - dose of realism
Ah, but, "...if we can improve what we’ve got, and help Gary and the squad be more competitive, then we will." - that's more like it Matty.
So maybe we will maybe we won't. But if we're bringing anyone in, gotta assume it's a striker. But who?
We’ll surely bring in a striker this month. At the very least we need someone that can be on the bench which looks totally lacking in attacking options now Sasa and Fabio have gone. Nathan Fraser is all set for a loan to Shrewsbury but Wolves aren’t letting that go through yet because we are short of options in attack
The cup replay is confirmed for next Tuesday but will now be a 7:30 start. The game is not being televised

Already taken up the option on my seat, £18.00.
Wolves squad is now in Abu Dhabi. The winter training camp will be a little shorter than originally planned because of the cup replay. Nice to get some sunshine but they’ll feel the cold when they get back
Luke Cundle is now signed up with Stoke City. He has previously had successful loans at Swansea and Plymouth and his latest move was driven by Schumacher who moved on from Plymouth to recently being appointed at Stoke. It was originally thought it would be a permanent transfer but will now just be a loan for the rest of the season. He already has 5 goals and 6 assists for Plymouth this season and Schumacher considers him one of the best midfield players in the championship
We probably need to get Joe Hodge a loan. He hasn't played all season.
I was thinking the same about Hodge. I think he’d be a good signing for a decent championship team
Hopefully Raul continues his resurgence and rich vein of form tonight in the semi final of the League Cup. 👍
Diego Costa left Wolves at the end of last season and subsequently signed for Botafego in Brazil. Their season has now ended and he is now a free agent. Surely we wouldn’t ….
Young right back Dexter Lembikisa has been with Rotherham on loan this season and made 26 appearances for them. But Wolves have now terminated the deal in the belief he would benefit from playing for a club that isn’t struggling at the bottom of the league. There’s a few championship teams interested in taking him on loan, including Albion
Hodge was playing really well in the league cup game against Blackpool until he pulled his hamstring, think he's had another injury since then too.
As well as Hwang, Wolves academy player Justin Hubner will also be playing in the Asian Cup having been called up by Indonesia
An academy player getting a full international cup is pretty good, even if it is Indonesia. Well done Justin.
Does look like Joe Hodge will be going out on loan this month
