Madders Benta Sarr when they are all on fire!!

Madders, sarr, and benta.

Hopefully benta is getting sharper by the day as he has looked, understandably a little sluggish.

I don’t think Ange will have a first choice 3 - he will see all those 4 as starters and change it constantly. He def wants another Mid - probably Gallagher and then have Kulu covering Maddison - and the whole thing will be very fluid both in game and game to game.

Crazy to think that this weekend will be the first time Ange will have Bentancur Sarr Bissouma and Maddison to choose from.

Lovely to think that first change will probably Sarr or Bissouma, so a fantastic player coming on that doesn't drop our levels.

I would expect Sarr to start this weekend as he's been back a week or so.

Thereafter I think it will be mix and match, but will add a level of competition that should see some quality performances

Hope that Biss isn’t done in from malaria. That can take months to recover from

Did anyone else get malaria while at AFCON, or is it just our fecking player

GLC might also be on the bench.

When Son returns, we could have a bench of Dragusin, Bissouma, Johnson, Werner, GLC, Hojbjerg, Emerson, Davies

Between 2 and 22 weeks apparently. The very fact a man of his talents hasn't even been risked by his country even though they desperately needed him suggests he's nowhere near it. Anyone expecting him to play against Brighton are in for a shock.

My point being we don’t have a best 3, we arguably have a best 4 that will rotate all the time - so picking 3 from the 4 is incredibly difficult

Honestly, this is just standard of our luck this season - you couldn’t make it up. As soon as we get 1 player back another drops.

The only good news is that come next season we will have a squad that have virtually all had extensive minutes playing Ange ball - which will hopefully kick us on.

Honestly think he will be out for the season. How the fack did he even get it? Wasn’t he vaccinated?

Bissouma will be on bench if available, as he is still recovering from malaria. We looked better in midfield on Saturday once Sarr came on & Bents probably needs another game or two to get back to full match fitness.
Richarlson’s form is getting better and he looks sharper, he is also a tremendous worker off the ball.

So my midfield at the weekend would be Sarr, Maddison & Bentancur with Bissouma & Hojberg on the bench.

Apparently a number of players got malaria including Bissouma’s team mate Diarra. Catching malaria in Africa is quite a common thing and they treat it like flu🤔

All we need is Son back and then we have a hell of a side - will be nice to unleash against Wolves and Palace

Stupidity if he did catch it, but with modern medication and treatment should be over it in a couple of weeks max

According to Sky Sports, the Tottenham midfielder has been playing with malaria after testing positive early in the tournament.

Mali's head coach Eric Chelle revealed that both Bissouma and Moussa Diarra were suffering from Malaria.

'You know Yves and Moussa were suffering from malaria, regarding the blood tests, it’s not so serious, because someone born in West Africa is used to malaria, he could play but for Moussa it was different' Chelle said.

'It was the first time he contracted malaria, so he started some light training but we’ll take things carefully, but there’s no outbreak or anything.' The head coach assured.

He will be ok.

Bentancur, Sarr and Maddison is the one to go with for the next game but I think Sarr could be interchanged with Bissouma going forward. It depends on their form.
