The implementation of ffp/psr is the joke, Everton shatting all over the rule book to avoid relegation and not picking up the punishment until the following season when Leicester knowingly held off on spend and got relegated is ridiculous.

Now we'll have the stupidity of not knowing at the end of the season who will finish where even after all the matches have been played. Absolute farce.

I agree

And the deferred punishment during a season where the bottom three could be cut adrift means they're effectively unpunished

A bad scenario would be if Everton or Forest finished 8 points clear of relegation. But they will have appealed that a ten point deduction is too harsh. So the penalty is reduced to 7 points.

Can’t believe any decision taken after the close of the season would be considered fair and without prejudice

The idea needs scrapping anyway. You can't bring in a rule to stop clubs spending after some clubs have built dynasties ahead of that time spending ridiculous amounts. It is feckin outrageous to be honest.

And as touched on above, how the hell is that gonna work, lawsuits will be flying everywhere and it could even end up delaying the start of the following season.

Are there even set guidelines on deductions? Every 5 million is 2 points? Or is it some random panel just deciding a punishment based on not a lot? Probably the latter.

It all just protects the "Bigger Clubs", who will always avoid punishment.

These sustainability rules makes it even more difficult for new clubs to break into the top level. Even Newcastle who probably have the richest owners in the world are finding they are limited by complying with the rules

After scans this week it’s now confirmed that Cunha has suffered what’s described as ‘a fairly significant hamstring injury’. So we won’t be seeing him for quite a few weeks

S**t.

bad news indeed will be a big miss but others need to step in and up, our forward line may not have quite the same fluidity though

I think Neto, Cunha and Hwang have only started 6 games together this season.

Sky news reporting that Cunha may not play again this season

Critical to our play and perhaps our most important player for me. Bit of a blow

Yeah, feel like we can get by without on of the other forwards. I think we struggle without Cunha though.

Time for GON to surprise us all again though with a change in gameplan to counteract the loss.

Some people having a proper meltdown on the Cunha thread on MolMix. Makes you realise how tame this place is.

Yeah, some of the conclusions people jump to is amazing.

Rangers seem to be playing Fabio and Dessiers in alternate games. Seems to be working as a motivation because each of them are scoring every time they start

Sky have deleted the post they made yesterday which speculated that Cunha may miss the rest of the season. Cunha himself has now posted that he will be back in a few weeks

Dessers has started the last two matches and Fabio has come on to replace him in the latter stages. I'm sure Fabio will get more playing time, but I'm assuming he went to Rangers as cover, because their summer signing Danilo got injured in December and is out with a knee injury. Their other striker is also out injured.

Says a lot when a journeyman with a remarkably mediocre record is keeping out a generational talent.
