Must be the "Kane effect"! I have no doubt Harry was behind Bayern bidding for Dier.
Maybe he'll suggest H-M Son next?

I think there’s a fair chance I could look semi decent playing for Bayern in a few games.

Slower league will suit him, look at Hummels

He gave Spurs good service & doesn’t deserve the abuse some fans gave him. Good luck Eric & I hope you enjoy your time at Bayern👍

Good for him. He and Kane will be others to add to the list of players who got out of Spurs and then quickly won trophies.

That’s inevitability if you play for Bayern. The bottom line is we play in the most competitive competitions going, winning English trophies is incredibly difficult as you are up against City, United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea.

Bayern are up against Dortmund and this season Leverkusen.

Real Madrid are up against Atletico and Barca

PSG are up against no one.

Serie A to be fair is competitive these days - Inter, Milan, Napoli and Juve.

Last year though English sides won 2 of the 3 Euro trophies on offer. City won the Club World Cup this year and I reckon English sides are nailed on to be in at least 2 of the Euro finals this year - it is the toughest league in the world to pick up trophies

Yeah I know it's more competitive for us, while a lot of our ex-players have moved to clubs who tend to pick up trophies. But still it hits home how awful this miserable trophyless period we've had to put up with is. Worth repeating but 16 years and no trophy for a team that purports to be one of the big clubs, when the rest of the big clubs have picked up multiple cups, is embarrassing.

We are now once again I believe on the verge of good things, like we were under Poch. We simply can't squander this opportunity this time. I really hope Levy has learned and so far it kind of looks like he has. Give it a couple of seasons and we'll know for sure. We ought to have won a trophy by then.

very good point

Sums up the challenge in PL though every so often the major clusb go through a period of change, and that is a good time to have a go at the title, like Lester did and Liverpool did.
