These are the things that will sway the Independent vote (and some Republican for that matter) come November.

1. Women’s rights on abortion
2. The Economy
3. Healthcare

The GOP will lose on all of them right now in tue swing states.

You only have to look at how a lot of 'regular' US citizens thought that Obamacare was a communist idea to realise they're feckin bonkers.

But then look at how many took advantage of it.

I doubt Putin has plans to inavde any of those countries in the near future.

….

He hasn’t managed to pull off invading Ukraine yet. He is just continually losing his soldiers.

It reminds me a bit of their failure in Afghanistan.

It's actually worse than that. He didn't say he would 'allow' Russia to attack NATO allies, he said he would 'encourage' Russia to attack. Isn't it just amazing with Trump that to anticipate his foreign policy all you have to ask is what option is best for Putin?

The only hope is that it occured in one of his endless waffles where he can say just about anything. But that's not much hope really.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly. The Trump angle is to give Putin whatever he wants and then take credit for ending the war.

Genius.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's Russia keeping Crimea & Donbass, and assurances the rest of Ukraine remains neutral and doesn't join NATO, as per the Minsk agreements which the West lied about and is the root cause of the Ukraine war.

Sounds good to me 👍
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because you're an idiot. Furthermore Crimea and Donbass were not part of any agreement and the notion that broke promises justify the invasion of Ukraine is stoopid.

What is Russia's problem with sovereign self determined nations joining or not joining NATO to begin with? They relied on a stoopid promise because they're stoopid. The West cannot purport to agree that sovereign self determined nations will not join any organisation they want. Legally speaking all that agreement is null and void on the basis that it doesn't make sense. Silly excuses for war and idiots like you want to bend over and get shafted.

Someone asked him a hypothetical question and he gave a hypothetical answer. If anyone actually thinks the US would actually stand back and let Russia invade a fellow NATO country, then they’re bonkers.

I can’t believe I’ve actually had to explain it, it’s blatantly obvious.

Research how the Cuban missile crises started. The United States put nuclear missiles in Turkey, then the soviets placed missiles in Cuba. this just shows how arrogant and hypocritical the United States are. The Mexican president has also said that they won't join brics due to geopolitics, which basically means is that they were threatened. The United States are also threatening Mexico not to allow Chinese car companies to build factories. Now imagine if mexico allows China to build military bases. Place missiles and join a military pact what would happen

Trump says a lot of things, but the president isn’t the ultimate decision maker in these instances. Military advisors generally have more sway behind the scenes, he’s just trying to play to his audience to get the vote. Many Americans don’t want to continue funding an endless, or rather futile war.

Also, Putin was pretty clear in his recent interview that he has no plans to invade any NATO allies and certainly doesn’t want a nuclear war. I think he realises the Ukraine invasion was a mistake, but of course neither NATO nor Russia can be seen to back down now. Negotiations would be preferable for both parties but there needs to be a way it looks like a win for both to allow the possibility.

The west rejected Russia after the Cold War, Putin was hurt by this and the constant encroachment toward their border has left Russia hurt and paranoid. We shouldn’t forget he has requested to join NATO twice, and Clinton privately agreed to explore the possibility which was rejected by his advisors.
