He's had £400m to try and make it balanced. He's bought flops and that's why he's up against it now. He can't rely on a lot of his own signings so we are back to trying to hope Bruno Rashford dig him out of trouble. Scott Mctominay being one of our top scorers says it all.

Well put!!

He's bought flops and successes like every manager. And when I say he, others have plenty of input.

“Presented to the manager by the medical team, not saying they are competent it’s not public to know”

Well, we’ve had injury crisis after injury crises for 10 years now. Not a single manager has managed to get through a period without it.

Maybe they’re great, but you also have no idea what information ETH is given. Usually, the medical team say they can play or they can’t, or maybe a player will have their input, but not too many managers will force players to play.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think ETH is under big pressure to qualify for the ECL to save his job to be fair, he doesn’t have many games left so may have to take the risks even if the medical profile doesn’t look so good like with Martínez as he makes such a difference to the play transitions in the team.
We looked beaten from the start today, I don’t know why but the team had zero belief probably from the set up formation.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree, I think Hojlund was a huge miss today. He has a certain swagger, arrogance that players around him seem to have been thriving on recently. Leno spilt the ball so many times today, I think Hojlund would’ve made a big difference to the result.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Definitely, it's his attitude as well as his goals.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t know what the future is for but if it’s going to be anything we want it to be it will be built around the likes of Rasmund who understands the badge, the standards and the traditions of the club

Giving him a third season would be monumentally stupid. Not a single thing is working. We don't defend well, we can't pass or control a game, our attack is abysmal and we are awful at set pieces.

Not sure why we've got so many people so reluctant to let him go. He's not performing at literally any task he's been given.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m not reluctant, but I do consider the following:
- We’ve seen managers come and go, including some very good ones, none of whom got a tune out of the squad.
- we’re in the process of a restructure, I don’t think it’s a great time to bring somebody else in only to be fired in 12 months. Will the new hierarchy have time to put their ideas in place to pick a long term manager?
- a lot of clubs will be in the market this summer
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Been outplayed so many times this season against teams who regularly finish bottom half.

Fulham today were missing Paulinha, Willian and Jiminez and Reem was only on bench. They played us off the park.

It hasn't worked out. We need a better coach if we want to close the gap on the rest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think as Diafol pointed out, our squad is unbalanced and when we miss key players there’s a huge drop off.

A good example today, Hojlund for Rashford, entirely different players and we missed him immensely.

Yes, every team gets injuries, but most have like for like replacements.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Onana Mount and Antony money in theory could have been used to make us a lot stronger. If anything it's made us worse.

It's time to end this nightmare. Had enough of watching this crap and paying £50 a game for the 'pleasure'.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree that Antony was a total waste of money, I didn’t want Mount for the reason we haven’t seen him all season and Onana hasn’t had a great first season.

But the manager shouldn’t be selecting the purchases because he has limited knowledge, for obvious reasons, he’s managing a team.

No club, let alone a manager, gets all of their signings right. Look at some of the money Liverpool, Chelsea, City have wasted over the years. You don’t fix the mess ETH picked up in 2 seasons, that is the reality.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Sounds like you're saying give him more time and more money then.

Absolutely baffling. He's only going to take us backwards pal.

Time to end this fantasy and go get someone better.

If you want to know where we are with our manager then it's probably a fairer reflection if you ask our rivals what they think as they want nothing more than to see us fail. I'm sure you'd find it very difficult to find a Liverpool and City fan that wants to see him sacked. That's all you need to know.

Get rid.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m not tied to the idea of keeping ETH, but I’m also open to the idea that now isn’t the right time for a new manager.

Who would you get in?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No idea. But I know we have to try something else. This isn't working at all.

Nagelsmann, De Zerbi, Hansi Flick, Amorim.....it's time to roll the dice again.

He has not bought any successes unless your expectations are at an all time low! Martinez and Rasmus will not be considered success at likes of Madrid or City. This is the problem with our fan base, expectations at all time low. They have been promising, nothing more or less.

If success to you is coming to Manchester United, have a decent season and achieve top 4, that's your prerogative. It is not mine.

Bruno Fernandez has done much more compared to both of these and I do not consider him a "success."

Man Utd have conceded 435 shots in the Premier League this season. ONLY Sheffield United have conceded more. Ten Haag ball.

This is why I dont want to get involved in a future with ETH. Hes incompetent

We've been giving up 20 shots a game for weeks. If we do that next weekend we will lose by 5 minimum.

I think I'd rather go to Gaza for the weekend than be stood on that away end next weekend. Those 3,000 heroes should have their tickets paid for them by the club such is my expectation for how the game is going to go.

I step forwards, 2 steps back.

This cant continue. Top4 is a pipedream lets face it.

Jim must have come to the party with a plan up his sleeve without Ten Hag ih he didnt cut it. Think hes is going to need it come the summer.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

We don't deserve top 4 either. We have the GD and XG of a team who should be about 12th. It's a miracle we are 6th quite frankly as our performances certainly haven't merited it.

Forest (Cup) and City are about to bring us down even more too.

It's time to go. Nowhere near good enough.

I worry about that City game.

If it's another pasting... he just has to go. He must know that.

For the life of me I will never know what possessed him to play Forson. He hasn’t been impressive in the youth and wasn’t any good on the preseason tour and has not given glimpses of being any good in the cameos this season.

OK. Then he has to get 11 players in Manchester red shirts to give our rivals City a game. He can lose the game, that's ok. No shame in that. But to get schooled by 5, 6 or 7 AGAIN... will be just unaceptable.

We've conceded 100 shots on our goal in 5 PL games in 2024 😂

If we give City 20 attempts at our goal they are scoring 5 minimum. Haaland will be my captain in FPL that's for sure.

I never understand this mate. I just can't do it personally. Seeing a player score against united and somewhere deep down I am okay with it due to fantasy

I'd rather us fluke a 0-1 and he blanks obviously. It's just softening the blow mate because Haaland is going to run us ragged again.

He's scored more goals against us than any other PL team. 😭
