He needs to have a rethink about AWB at left back if he wants to play like that. Liverpool targeted and exploited it.

Onana has been very good for quite a while now. I'll never feel fully confident in him as he has a touch of the Barthez about him as he always seems moments from disaster in how he plays, but he's making great saves and performing consistently well right now.
More importantly, his long passing ability is absolutely out of this world. It was hailed as a big strength upon his arrival but wasn't immediately evident. It has been very very clear how good he is in that department though in the last couple of games

Rashford was most dangerous player on pitch yesterday. Scored 1, could have had another couple although would have been disallowed and he also played 3 key passes that led to our best chances of the game.

My biggest issue with Marcus
- Decision making
- Does not look up
- Poor work rate
- Gives the impression he does not care
- Conversion of good chances
- Passing can be hit and miss / wastes possession
- Just don't know which version of Marcus Rashford will turn up
But he's still "young", he'll get better, right?!

Onana is not a good keeper, that Salah goal was entirely on him. Alisson, or even Kelleher (who had a bad game yesterday) pushes that wide or behind, not right out into the danger area.
United should invest in Costa or Mamardashvili in summer if you want to compete next year as Onana isn’t good enough.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It would make more sense to fix the defence which is in desperate need of reinforcements and reduce the number of shots Onana faces.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd say the blame for salahs goal goes towards more than one player. What was lindleoff doing for example?
Why was Salah wide open in the box on his own?
Why did onana push it out into the danger area again?

The main difference yesterday was that the players put in 100% effort.
They were winning their individual duels, and if they never their teammate was winning the second duel. Even Rashford won a header at one point.
The crowd definitely helped, it would be nice if OT had even half that atmosphere on a regular basis. Ultimately, if the players shown that level of effort and professionalism every week, we’d be doing much better.

OT rarely has better atmosphere than we make for Liverpool games. It's a special game.
And yes it helps in the players actually try as hard as they did yesterday. There was a period of about 10 mins in the second half when Liverpool totally dominated United and United players didnt even get close to the ball as Liverpool pinged it about. But we got through that.
But yes If the all players, not just Rashford, that level of effort and professionalism every week, then the atmosphere at OT will begin to get much better every week as it used to be and we would win more games.

In all honesty I'd lost all hope with 10 mins left, the totally controlled the game and battered us for most of the second half, we couldn't get near them.
Fair play to the lads, we ended the game with Antony at LB, Bruno at CB and it just goes to show we do have the ability if the players put in the effort.

Rashford was most dangerous player on pitch yesterday. Scored 1, could have had another couple although would have been disallowed and he also played 3 key passes that led to our best chances of the game.
I love it when he shuts you moaners up. 😂

I thought Garnacho was the most dangerous personally, but Rashford did well too.

To add a villain to the two heroes mentioned here: I heard Martin Tyler’s commentary of Amad’s goal on YouTube.
It’s a shame he couldn’t set his hatred of United aside for one of the greatest footballing moments in years, but never mind.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
OT rarely has better atmosphere than we make for Liverpool games.
