Christ, you don't half read some crap on here.

Whilst I think it is fair to say Neymar didn't reach the heights expected, he has still been a fantastic player.

All time Brazilian top scorer and 360 career goals in top leagues. 39 in one season for Barcelona.

Then throw in assists, Neymar is now in the top ten all time I believe with 285. Also one shy of the most international assists with 57.

If an English player ever came anywhere near that you guys would vvank yourselves into a frenzy.

I've kept tabs on Endrick since it was announced we'd signed him just over a year ago. He struggled a bit during the season, but really came into his own during the run in.

It's way too early to say how he'll develop or how his career will unfurl, but his build, movement, and speed of thought an execution remind me a lot of Romário. As a Madrid fan I think I'd be more than happy if he matured into just 80% of what Romário was.

Tbf for a couple of years I considered Ronaldinho to be the best player in the world, but I get your point.

Oh, shiiit I forgot about him. To be fair, he was very feckin good. Up there with Ronaldo for me but I think my judgement is clouded by Neymar a little bit because I hate the guy. Way overhyped.

We hold plenty of similar views on football, fridge, but you've got a bit of a habit of completely forgetting yourself once you see red. Your opening post was just terrible. It would've been much better if you'd simply said "I hate Neymar." I could even suscribe to the idea that he's wasted a huge portion of his talent, but I think there can be absolutely no doubt whatsoever that he had it in spades.

Neymar aside, though, I don't know what you consider a "generational talent" to be, but Brazil's had a whole heap of players who at one point or other have been considered at least one of the top three in the world outright, not to mention a much longer list of players who've been widely acknowledged as the world's best in their respective positions.

Argentina is the only other country that churns out such extraordinary talent on such a regular basis.

Scoring a goal at Wembley

I mean I could have scored that too. Lucky rebound to him for an empty net tap in. Can’t say I saw him do anything else. Will be one to watch to see but these wonder kids always seem to dissapoint now.

The last one I can really remember getting to the top top is Neymar. Pogba, Freddy adu, even odegaard never hit the heights

Bit of a high bar you're setting there, but how about Mbappé, Haaland, Bellingham, Vini Jr?

All of them wonder kids who are now easily considered amongst the world's top 10.

They do this every single time the Brazilians. As far as I'm concerned they've had only one generational talent in the last 30-40 years and that was the original Ronaldo and before that you'd have to go back to Socrates and then further to the classic '70 side. Neymar doesn't come close. His attitude absolutely feckin stinks and he has almost single-handedly created a culture of hype over talent since he came in. I'll be very surprised if this kid is any different to the conveyer belt of overhyped players they've had in more recent years. Neymar is the pick of the bunch but he'll surely go down as a major disappointment considering where he could have got to on a personal level. Forget the treble with Messi and Suarez. His biggest problem is that he can't share a field successfully with players equal or better than him. He's entirely self-absorbed and the main reason why I went from liking Brazil to loathing. It's part of the reason why i don't even like our own player, Richarlison, aside form the fact that he's a pile of shiiit.

Romario, Neymar, Ronaldinho and Rivaldo.
