I understand all the not another new manager talk but seriously this regime is done as of tonight.

As much as ETH is to blame the players should also take a cold hard look at their performance, even if the manager was poor they are pro players and not one of them stepped up or made the required effort? I'm off the opinion that it's both managerial and player issues?

That said we won't be able to change as many players as we might want, they are on fcking HUGE wages and do you think many other clubs will want them? It's a fcking LONG way back atm

31 shots against a team in 15th who have won 2 in their last 15 games or something daft like that.

Just get rid. This manager isn't it.

These lot are 5 points above relagation

Nothing new about teams raising their game against us. That's why the EPL is considered a tough league

Granted, we were never in the game for most of the match. We were very fortunate to walk away with a point.

He's a meme at this point.

85 touches in our box from a relegation outfit

Very big call for Jim and the ownership this summer.

We have so many things to rectify. The decision for them is to determine if the performance on the pitch is a symptoms of the ills off field, the poor recruitment. But Eth and his players are culpable for the abject performances we are witnessing week in, week out. The injuries are not helping.

Do we seriously have a collection of players who turn it on and off when it suits them?! Are they beyond coaching?

Ivan Toney sounds gutted. He had 10 grand on 3-1

Third highest ever. Previous two both were both by City.

I can forgive luck and form but not passion, work rate and application. That's on the players.

Question for Eth, were we set up not to lose or to win. That display would suggest he went there for a point, for damage limitation. Who knows. It was not great.

Was pleased for Mount as well, he needed that and it's sad that we couldn't hang on

Ok, but did he have to keep them on the pitch? Bruno, Rashford and Garnacho should have been subbed at half time.

That, Onana and the woodwork were positives.

Since the start of the 2016/17 season at least, only two teams have had 70+ touches inside the opposition box against Man Utd in a Premier League game:

◉ 85 - Brentford (30 Mar 2024)
◎ 79 - Man City (7 Dec 2019)

The 7-0 game Liverpool actually barely touched the ball in the box.
Strangest 7-0 game ever.
This seasons 0-0 was more a territorial battering. I will take 6th this season.
