We need so many replacements in key areas, not going to happen in one window. We are in such a mess as a club, it's beyond a joke.

To be fair the last one was just bad luck, we all saw the defender fall on his leg.
I don't know about the others.

Lindelof is also out for a month. We must pray Maguire and Varane steer clear of injuries.

Medical department needs to be seriously looked at. ETH and his coaching methods too.

This amount of injuries in one season can not be just bad luck. It's gone way past that point now surely?

INEOS need to clean house. It's all rotten and all not up to standard.

if this is true.... its time to sell.

Martinez is turning into a massive crock, that injury in the EL last year seems to have ruined him

All is a bit far fetched.

There's a few others though yeah who have had it as bad as we have.

Is it modern training methods? Work overload? Lightweight football boots? Something has to be the reason. It's been an incredibly bad year for it.

It’s the World Cup

posted on 2/4/24

That was 16 months ago now. Might have had an impact too on some of them but surely it's not all on that?

Whatever it is.....I can't wait for this miserable season to be finished. It's been like lying on the floor and being kicked repeatedly.

World cup followed by a nonsense pre-season North American tour hasn't helped

Relying on Varane, Evans and Slab for the last few weeks of the season as CB options. And the funny thing is all 3 are prone to an injury too.

Out for at least a month, so is Lindelof.

Our season comes down to whether we can beat Coventry and set up the hail Mary against City.

The league games at this stage essentially comes down to what minor European tournament, if any, we will qualify for. The Champions League has gone.

That's what you get for employing a director of sports medicine who was in charge of the butcher shop at Arsenal for 14 years.

Still can't believe you lot went for O'Driscoll despite his history.

Remember when our players said that the training methods are ridiculous and everyone jumped on them and called them spoiled and wasters?

Maybe they were right.....

BBC says it's a calf strain, so not too serious and hopefully a month out is the very upper limit of that.

Nevertheless, we have so many injuries issues at CB that it starts to look like we really need to go and get two CB's in the summer as well as another fullback, not to mention at least one more CM, CF and wide attacker.

Possibly but like you and I stated earlier the medical team have a lot to answer for, it's been the perfect storm for everything, if everything could go wrong this season it has.

The whole set up has a lot to answer for, that includes the manager. That's why I feel it would be unfair for Eth to bite the bullet, for now anyway.

I can also understand why many want ETH out.

posted on 2/4/24

Yeah but that doesn’t make him injury prone.

Realistically though BK, we are not making wholesale changes during one window unless Jim and co target potential over finished articles.
