Agreed. Just want this season to end already.

Don't think Coventry is a given either the way we're playing. Even if we win, I don't think I could cope with another potential final against City.

It's all doom and gloom basically

I know what you mean. I'm looking forward to a nice few months off without these 541tb@gs ruining my weekends.

Be nice to go out on a high though with a trophy, on
what's been an absolute car wreck of a season, but I just don't see it happening.

We 'should' make the final but I suspect it will be against City again if we do and we will probably get another beating from them. Thought they beat us in second gear last May which was worrying. They looked like they had several extra gears if needed and we barely laid a glove on them.

I bet even if we hope Chelsea beat City we'd still end up losing to them in the final too! Or, does history repeat itself and we win an FA Cup final and then get rid of a Dutch coach soon after?

Chelsea could give City a good game, so you just don't know. And if we can't beat Coventry, well we deserve all the pelters we would get for that.

It has been a hard old season, I can't remember a time when we have looked so poor, even in the games we win. It would just be nice if we could give someone a good old fashioned hammering without any worries.

There's so much going on in the background right now, I keep thinking, if we don't have the right manager (whether it's ETH or someone else), it doesn't matter what Jim does.

We probably will win 3 more games this season

I'll be going Sunday, and to the Semi Final. I'll probably sell the rest of my tickets this season.

Nothing wrong with this. Only way I see us smiling as fans. Top4 forget about it.

City are going to win every remaining game now bar possibly Spurs away so the other two teams will need to be pretty much perfect themselves.

City more than capable of winning at Spurs too after finally breaking their duck there in FA cup.

I still think City by a single point. Liverpool 2nd and Arsenal 3rd.

City haven't really clicked into gear themselves as of yet

I know what you mean Diafol, but I look forward to all the games. I'm not quite sure why mind you, I guess I'm just optimistic.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow,I've no idea who will win that one.

They've just sapped my energy this season. So much so I missed most of the game on Saturday to go for a walk then pick up some shopping. WIll miss tomorrow's first half too as playing 9 a side seems the more entertaining option. Even with my Gout!

Just looked at their remaining games.... They will win every one of them bar possibly Spurs. You couldn't have hand picked a better run in. That's why I still think they will just about get over the line.

It's going to be a close run thing though between the three of them.

In an ideal situation we would practically hand Arsenal the title by rolling over for them in GW37. Would genuinely be hilarious if that happened. You can already see the foaming at the mouths of two legendary managers 😂

It'd be typical of this United to reserve our best league performance of the season for Arsenal at home, beat them and thus hand the initiative to City and/or Liverpool.

posted on 3/4/24

It definitely would. I don't think we will have much riding on the game though so Where we'd find the performance from I don't know.

Be horrible to hand either of the other two the league....so it's sure to happen. 😭

I actually wonder how we have managed to remain in 6th. We have had so many poor performances, really surprised we are not lower down. Quite a few games which we have been fortunate to win.
The more I think about the title race, the more I don't want any of them to win

IHence my poor strength of the PL article which upset everyone it was intended to. 😂

It's true though.....hand on heart how many PL games can you say 'we have it our all today and I couldn't have asked anymore from them'.

3 or 4 at best. 😂

To be fair, we still owe Liverpool for handing us the title on a plate by beating Blackburn on the final day of the 94-95 season, when we cruised to a win against West Ham.

Ah, the good old days where a disappointing season was failing to win the league because we couldn't score just one extra goal.

Pretty similar to last season, no? That also had a load of narrow, unconvincing (spawny?) wins and a league points total punching way above actual performance levels. The awful goal difference in both campaigns pretty much confirms that.

Still hurts.

Would have been 5 in a row for us. Cantona would have also never lost a league title in England either. 1 with Leeds and then 5 with us.
