I'd still go for Zidane. He'd love to manage us, I know so.
However I think Ineos will opt for Southgate, Potter or De Zerbi.
We need to get ruthless under our new leadership. Look at Chelsea from 2004-2022 and the revolving door policy. Bring in a new manager, if he's no good then sack him and bring another one in until it works.
Chelsea won everything over and over again by doing it so why shouldn't we?

More likely because the new stakeholders in charge of the footballing operations are yet to appoint the key decision makers. How do you pick a new manager without any of that?
Unless Ratcliffe and co already know who their man is, the only realistic solution is a 1 year contract for somebody like Jose or Ole, or even hiring internally (Steve Mclaren?).

You don't know a thing. Zidane did well (in the CL) with some of the best players in the world at his disposal. Coming to Utd, who have a squad that is maybe 5th or 6th best in the league, competing with Guardiola, doesn't sound attractive for Zizoue.
