Good comments that came out of an interview between Cunha and Johnny Philips after the game that summed things up well

The fans were singing ‘It’s not football any more’ and Boring, Boring’. Cunha said it makes him feel sad about where the game is at now. The quest to get everything ‘correct’ has resulted in a diminished collective experience for all involved.

Must admit, I've been giving serious consideration whether to renew my ST for next season, Wednesday was a bit of a tipping point to be honest. But then again, isn't that just giving in? It should not be fans walking away from the game, what needs removing is the idiots that are ruining it.

Unfortunately, I think fans walking away is the only thing that will make them change it. At the moment, they take fan's loyalty for granted.

Most Prem clubs have a waiting list for season tickets. What will be achieved exactly?

I too am seriously p!ssed off with VAR.

I don't really go along with the conspiracy, "big clubs win out", thing, although we do seem to have come off pretty bad this season.

Wednesday's game against Bournemouth was the first this season I have not watched, either at the ground or on an internet dodgy stream. Came home to check the result, and genuinely felt no emotion at all, particularly when I heard there was another cr@p VAR decision.

I know (or at least hope), however, that come August I will still be just as enthusiastic for the new season. It's a drug, isn't it?

I do know some people that have decided to stop going because of var. But then I know someone who gave up his season ticket as a protest against Moxey. Then a year later Moxey left.

I recently filled in a detailed survey from the Premier League that asked for views on many aspects of the game. Annoyingly they didn’t ask what people thought about VAR. Guess they already know the answer to that one.

I do think a nationwide survey on VAR would be really damning if that could get organised. Maybe that would lead to a worthwhile protest

Looks like the injury problems may be switching from attack to defence now. Santiago Bueno will miss tomorrow’s game and there is some doubt about Toti being fit.

But Cunha is fit to start. And there could be a new name on the bench with highly rated Paraguayan youngster Enso Gonzalez having trained with the first team this week.
