I realised at half time that with very few exceptions (Firpo, Ampadu), tonight for the first time in a long time, the team didn't feel like a Leeds team to me. That they weren't out there playing for me.

Putting aside the rights and wrongs of Leicester's squad I did think when they signed Winks that he would be the tyoe of midfield general the championship would be a piece of cake for him and ensure Leicester got promoted.... Leeds need that strength of player, David Batty esque or even KP to get promoted I think.

😂 The Leeds players should have to sit through that tomorrow and everyday until our game v Southampton and understand what they put us through.

The only way I see us going up now is if Ipswich capitulate and manage only one more point.

Beer and whiskey still doesn't make it feel any better but hopefully another couple will make me forget tonight.

Take it easy on the booze Earl - this effing team is not worth getting a hangover for.

I had to stay behind at the end and watch my mate singing "we are staying up" for 20 mins in front of the players and their families parading on the pitch. Gotta live football sometimes.

I think Dennis that Rutter has hit a brick wall due to a number of factors we've all discussed previously unfortunately and that's causing the rest of the side to mostly misfire.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I checked, both Beren Cross and Graham Smyth score him 2/10. We'd have been better off sending 10 men out there. I wish people would stop apologising for him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rutter loses the ball more often than not due to his f@nnying around with it until he loses it. And his shooting from anywhere other than point blank range is appalling. I’d lose him tomorrow.

Thing about players like Rutter is you have to take the rough with the smooth. When he's on it he is an elite player at this level. The real issue is that the replacement for him is Piroe, who isn't close to the same kind of player.

The squad management and building has been poor this season. Too many positions where the next choice (if there even is one) is just completely different in profile to the initial option. Adds to the incoherence when it comes to tactical approach.

Can't see Ipswich letting us off again.

And I honestly cannot see this team, in this current
state going up via the play offs. They look shot.

I agree Macca. I thought he was a good signing at the time too. He's had a solid season. Their last game he
really looked so at ease. But, he has most matches.
