Yet if Neuer doesn't drop the ball they probably win the game? Was Ancelotti asking to concede that offside goal when Real dropped back after making it 2-1?
Bayern were unfortunate, it happens.
The hate for Tuchel is baffling. Just admit it was an error to sack him. For those of us lucky enough to see him win the champions league taking the team from mid table to 3rd as well we will forever be grateful. I guess the haters didn’t celebrate 2021. Your loss.
The best decision the club made sacking Tuchel, I'd do it ten times over.
Midtable to third is disingenuous, pure fabrication. The team he inherited finished top 4 under Frank in year 1 (with a transfer ban & Hazard gone) the season before, hence we were in the Champions League when he took over.
Ended up in the same 4th position, only 1 point ahead of Frank' league table total in that season. We were in that position as a result of others around (namely Leicester) failing to capitalise on losses, nothing to write home about.
League campaign underwhelming on the whole under him (including the third place finish).

Hate is fine, people like & dislike things for various reasons. What's baffling is the amount of people who hate but also think he's not a good manager.
I blame Pep for this. Somewhere we reached a point in football fandom where you can be consistently successful, but if you don't encourage your teams to adapt Bielsa methodology you're "past it". Where managers like Ange (clearest example in the PL atm) are admired for style despite utterly disregarding the importance of tactical balance.
Football tends to be cyclical so I expect this phase to come & go, but yeah... baffling
