What a stupid article, you are not a proper supporter if you wish us to lose against City. So what if Arsenal won the PL after we had beaten City?
Arsenal have been consistently excellent all season, they need due recognition of their progress under Arteta over the years.
The best team overall wins the league, if this is to be Arsenal then so be it, they will deserve congratulations.

For a supporter wanting his own team to not turn up for a fixture is not only stupid it also shows a complete lack of respect and sportsmanship.

Just try and win the game.. end of.... The best team wins the league... worrying about one off results is facking stupid.

Even if we were in form and had our best XI available, small things like this and the home fans not being fully behind the team can make 1%, 2%, etc difference which is huge at the highest level (especially against City).

Will be a weird atmosphere. The players will give it their all I’m sure but the fans won’t be as motivated.

Agree. If we'd not tailed off so pathetically we might be more enthusiastic towards Spurs winning the game. We should have just got something out of Arsenal when we had the chance, then we wouldn't need to rely on City beating us.

Ange is also very naive regarding Spurs fans. Most Spurs fans want us to win something first and foremost and he disrespected that chance with his line up in the League Cup. Now he's saying Spurs fans wouldn't be behind losing to City to stop Arsenal getting the title. It's been a joyless end to the season for us and the one thing left that would bring many fans some joy is Arsenal not lifting the trophy. Not only cause they are rivals but it serves as another embarrassing development for Spurs to let a second team that was once behind us go on and take PL glory where we/Levy didn't have the guts to.

All kidding about Spursy aside, I think people are underestimating Spurs chances here. City still haven't scored a goal in that stadium in the league, stuff like this plays with players minds.

If Spurs take the lead & keep it going into the 2nd half, the City players will start having doubts, it's natural.
