United fans wanting us to win can get in the bin. How about if you weren't useless in Europe and we could've had 5 CL spots
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The irony
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We’re schitt but I’m pretty sure we wouldn’t have finished bottom of a CL group containing the mighty Galatasaray and the intergalactic FC Copenhagen.

Faaaack me you needed penalties to see of Coventry despite being 3-0 up with 20 minutes to go. You are unfathomably shiete currently
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey I'm not going to argue with us being bad, we've had a terrible season. Still that's 3 cup finals in two seasons whilst not being that good...
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I know, it’s ridiculous given how schitt you are. You've had some unbelievably soft draws along the way, and beat Liverpool once with a great performance.

It’s a travesty though, City will hump you in the final

Arsenal fans, and fans of other clubs backed City to "save football" and laughed at us when we lost out on the league title to them twice. They failed to back us over the football doping cheating caaants.

Yeah I'm pretty like that. If Arsenal don't win I certainly won't be feeling sorry for them but bringing myself to back City is still too hard as well. What will be will be.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was one of them. I think now that the shoe is on the other foot, you can see where I was coming from.

Not wanting Liverpool to win a title is completely understandable tbh.

Liverpool fans showing exactly why that is the case by cheering on city. Classless bunch.

Covid saved football that season. It was probably worth it, too

Yeah but we had a good reason.

Liverpool fans just want to cover up Klopps lack of league titles.

As I said, classless bunch

So let me get this right.
Spurs fans will be cheering on City, even though it could cost them a CL place.
And Arsenal fans will be cheering on Spurs.

Sound about right?

Arsenal want to win the title. Spurs fans don't want them to win the title. It's not complicated

I find it funny the knots some fans on here tie themselves in. Things like 'save football' are cringey as well

Don't forget, this is going to be yet another team that will from now on utterly obliterate United fans in banter, arguments and debates
----------------------
Right. So I might bump into an Arsenal fan. And they'll go, "Ha! We've won the title more recently than you have!" And I'll be like, "Yeah, we facking suck". And then get on with the rest of my day.

Just an observation Mamba, but from the way you act on this site I think you take this kind of stuff way too seriously, and assume everyone else does too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's a strange approach to me. The rivalries is the whole point of the league. Those teams which happen to be crap are often the first to start saying how it doesn't matter that much and that the succesful teams are taking it too seriously.

Well, no it isn't. Point proven I guess. But in any case, I am literally saying the rivalry is bigger with City and I dont really feel one with Arsenal. I couldn't care less if Arsenal fans "obliterate me in banter" (cringe, btw).

Easy to take this approach in an era where your team is crap. If it was still the Fergie days your approach would be different.

My approach to what? Not wanting City to win the league?

posted on 14/5/24

I’d always rather City win it, because it’s just so hollow so hard to really care about it.
